How do you enter a negative number in excel? (bought jelly comb brand and it doesn't work on minus sign)

The keyboard is not the issue here, the excel format is. In Excel, select the cell where you want to enter the negative number and change its format to either "Number" or "Currency" and select an option to display the numbers. After this, just enter the minus sign before the number and it will be displayed

My mac's bluetooth is broken. can you use this via usb?

I'm no Mac user, but if I wanted to use Blutooth on a system that was lacking or where it was broken, I would think you should be able to buy a USB Blutooth dongle. They're useful for more than just adding a 10-key.
