Better than Ventamatic. If purchasing a few dozen vents, PAY UNDER $2 PER VENT by purchasing from 3rd party seller VentMyHouse.
I'm just an unaffiliated home-owner of a fixer-upper trying to help my house, but I wanted to offer some comparative advice. First, these are great under-eave vents. At first, I bought the same-sized brown Ventamatic Aluminum Vent (CX64BR). However, instead of getting a 24-pack as advertised, I was shipped only one. After seeing the thinness of the Ventamatic vent and screen and how it came bent around the edges already, I went ahead a purchase a few dozen of the Duraflo ones. The Duraflo seem clearly a better product. They are nice, flexible plastic, and the holes end up being the same size as the gaps in the screens Ventamatic puts behind the metal ones. I had the opportunity to compare the two in-person. Many small to medium ants could certainly get through either, but not bees--again, the same as the metal but more sturdy than the flimsy screen behind the metal vents. Another advantage of the plastic ones is that they don't come bent, as my (and others') metal one(s) did. I see one or two plausible downsides to this vent for some. Obviously, color. White is just white and shows dirt faster than other colors. The vents could be spray painted, but I wouldn't brush paint on since it would probably clog the holes. The main concern is cost. If you're buying only a couple vents, then you'll be paying a lot per vent. But if you need a bunch of vents--as many people getting vents do--buy them from the third party seller VentMyHouse. I'm writing this review almost a year after I bought the vents. Both then and now, the cost per vent from VentMyHouse is $1.54. Now, shipping is currently $6.04 for one vent--more than you'd pay just buying one with Amazon Prime. BUT the shipping stays basically the same no matter how many you purchase from VentMyHouse. I purchased 35 at $1.54 totaling $53.90, and I paid only $7.04 in shipping. Total cost: $61.21 for 35 vents--that's less than $1.75 a vent. I've found it's always good to look carefully at buying options when purchasing more than one of something. I used these for attic venting and could feel the airflow breezing through after I installed them. They do the venting job well. I hope this review is useful for folks since there is only one other review of this product, and I think the high apparent cost might be turning folks away. If you have questions, I'll try to answer them in the comments.

PERMANENT SOLUTION
I KNEW WHEN PUTTING THESE UP IT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME BEING THEY ARE SO DURABLE! OBVIOUSLY, THEY WON'T RUST OR CORRODE LOOKING LIKE THE ONES I TOOK DOWN! I TOOK IT A STEP FURTHER AND SPRAYED THEM LIGHTLY TO THE DESIRED MATCHING COLOR USING FLEX-SPRAY. NOW THAT IT COMES IN SO MANY COLORS AND EVEN ACTS AS A GLUE, IT SEALS THE VENT ON THE SIDES AS WELL SO NOTHING GETS IN EXCEPT AIR AND THROUGH THE DESIGNED HOLES ONLY! I THOUGHT ABOUT SCREEN AND REALIZED ITS NOT NEEDED DUE TO THE TAPERED IN HOLES. JOB DONE!

Significantly Overpriced
These are basic thin plastic rectangles with holes in them. Cost at most 10 cents each to produce. I thought they would at least have wire screen covering the holes, but no, just basic plastic, no mounting screws either. The stack of 8 you see in the photo cost over $50. This is the first time I have truly felt ripped off with Amazon pricing.
