VOTATU V2 Fiber Optic Iron Sights, Flip Up Front and Rear Backup Sights with Green Red Dots, Adjustable Front Sight Rapid Transition

I needed some decent iron sights for a couple of guns that were good but wouldn't break the bank. These work perfectly. They look good, are easy to use and install, and are SOLID METAL! Very nice. It took me all of about 5 minutes maximum to put these on and they look and work great. adjustment is simple as well, and the rear ring sight has two different aperture sizes that you can change with a simple flip. I am very satisfied with these and will be considering more products from this company in the future.

I'm a big fan of iron sights, but let's be honest, some of them can be pretty...basic. Not these VOTATU V2s though! From the moment I slapped them on my AR, I could tell these were something special. First Impressions: Solid build: These sights feel like they're built to last. The metal is tough, the adjustments are smooth, and everything just feels...premium. Bright and clear: The fiber optic dots are amazing. They're super bright and crisp, even in low light, and they make target acquisition a breeze. No more squinting at blurry irons! Easy to use: I love the tool-free adjustments. No more fumbling around with tiny wrenches or screwdrivers at the range. Just a quick click and you're good to go. Low profile: These sights don't add any unnecessary bulk to your rifle. They're low-profile enough to co-witness with most red dot sights, which is a big plus for me. On the Range: These sights have seriously upped my game. I'm picking up targets faster, my sight picture is more consistent, and my groups are shrinking. I'm not saying I'm suddenly Jerry Miculek, but I'm definitely a lot more confident with these irons on my rifle. Overall: If you're looking for a top-notch set of iron sights that won't break the bank, VOTATU V2s are the way to go. They're well-made, easy to use, and they'll make you a better shooter. Installed these on an Extar EP9. They fit well, look good. Pop up and lock down functionality is solid. Almost too solid. The button is a little stern to push but it's not a problem. For the weapon it's mounted on, I'll keep in CQB configuration. In regular light at the indoor range, brightness is "ok". I have a forward mounted light and that amplifies the red/green much better. Installation and sighting was pretty simple. Again, considering the weapon usage, I only sighted out to 15yds but intended use would be probably be 10yds and less. Once I got it set, pretty much made one ragged hole between 7-10yds. Didn't lose zero, didn't drift, front sight remained straight and on point Durability remains to be seen. I don't plan on doing any drop tests or dragging them through gravel but remains to be seen if everything stays tight, locked in and zero after more rounds. This is my "right out of the box" initial review after about 300rds. Don't mistake my 3 stars as bad. I'm impressed with them right out of the box, especially for the price! It just hasn't earned anything higher yet. I'll update my review when i reach the 1500-2000rd mark and see how they hold up. 1500 rd update: still holding zero. impressive for the price.

The build quality is very nice with no sharp edges or tooling marks. The rear sight arrived with a missing green fiber optic. Of course, the sight is still usable. Additionally, both sights lockdown flat to the pic rail with a little bit of verticle movement. The release buttons are spring loaded and both sights snap upwards forcefully when deployed, thus locking them into place. The rear windage adjuster knob and the front elevation knob give a nice tactile feel with audible clicks while adjusting. Curiously, when adjusting for elevation using the front sight, I don't see the post with a red fiber optic rod moving up or down during adjustment. I haven't shot with these sights yet, but they may prove robust enough for my 12 ga. Amended review. So I am minding my own business, and I get an email from Shawn apologizing for the issue with the rear sight. Shawn is offering me a refund. All he is asking for is a couple of pictures of the defective part and a chance for him to make it right, outstanding. I didn’t write my review to call him out, because his product is very nice, but my review did not sit well with him, because he is trying to run a business and reputation is everything. After a couple of weeks of me, not responding to the offer, because I got busy with things, Shawn reached out again with the same offer to replace or refund. This time I took him up on his offer, provided him with the photographs that he needed, and he sent out a brand new pair of back up sights. I received them, they are in perfect working condition. One note about the front sight, a small Allen key is provided to unlock the setscrew which allows the front site to rise vertically and lower, a nice touch because it’s locked in place. I will not hesitate in recommending these sites to my enthusiast buddies. This is a very nice company to deal with.

I love these iron sights! They flip up and function great, and they get you on target! Easy to install and just have a great look. This was my second set from VOTATU. The red and green colors easily allow quick sight picture. Fantastic value for the money! (Obviously, since this is my second purchase!)

Excellent quality, especially for the price. Very positive spring action. Solid grip on the pic rail. I have not sighted them in yet, but it seems like they have sufficient adjustment. So far the only negative I see is that the fiber optic does not pick up very much light. Still, it’s easy enough to see the front post. I especially appreciate the two-size rear aperture that easily swaps at a press. I installed these on a 9 mm carbine as a back-up to an electronic red dot sight. They pop up hard and fast at an easy press so I think they function really well in that role. Great value. Absolutely recommend.

First I got a Votatu red dot sight for a FN 502 tactical because I didn't wanted to spend a lot on a 22 pistol and it impressed me so much the quality of the item in a great way it is a wonderful red dot and now I bought the iron sights that its goin into a very expensive item because it is a quality item not god for the money it is just good I red some bad reviews and honestly I don't believe them for a second they are solid and very well made you will not regret it. And the red dots are amazing shake awake comparable to holosun I'm not exaggerating I have holosun red dot in almost all my thinks and I love them this is as good as holosun for less than half they don't have solar panels but they have everything else going for them I sound like a commercial for votatu but I am not I just was very impressed with the quality of their products so far

VOTATU V2 Fiber Optic Iron Sights, Flip Up Front and Rear Backup Sights. These are well made for the price and they look nice and would be adequate for backup sites. The front site is easy to adjust for elevation and has a set screw to lock the front post into place. I like that they included fiber optics on the front and rear sites, but the rear site I received is missing one of its green fiber optics. When adjusting for windage the rear site can flip flip over so you will have to hold it in place, making a one-handed operation now a two handed operation. Hopefully if they release a version 3 they will spend some time with the rear site design and quality control.

Good product good price, good seller, no complaints!

The rear sight has no rail groove. Will not hold to the rail. They forgot to cut the groove that bites into the rail. The front one has a small notch but the rear is completely flat. I will have to return it since it will not hold or may loose it in transit.

Bad machining. The front side is ok with groove on each side. The rear sight have groove only on one side so it wont old on the rail.
