As previously answered, the kit includes two sections of hose, and each section is approximately one foot long. The hose can also be purchased by itself in single one foot sections, packs of two one foot sections, or bulk packs of twenty (20) one foot lengths.

Q: Has anyone used this attached to a standard dust collector for overarm table saw dust collection?

I haven't for a table saw, but I have used various configurations of the Loc-Line 2.5" hose system for additional dust collection on a drill press, a bench top circular/belt sander, and a band saw, each using custom brackets/fittings to interface with the Loc-Line hose end adapter. It shouldn't be too difficult to design and build a set-up for an overhead dust collector on a table saw. There are likely internet videos available showing possible ways to do this.

I mounted mine to a shop made bracket hung from the ceiling using a u-bolt. It works great and holds positions well.

The diameter of the receiving end is ~ 2.87 inches (73 mm), and the insertion end is ~ 2.71 inches (68.9 mm). Each of the hose sections/segments are identical and they snap into each other. I purchased this kit for the same purpose that you have stated. I was going to make a fitting/bracket out of wood, then I decided to design one and 3-D print it. My adapter bracket interfaces with the hose end attachment included in this kit. It works really well. My drill press shaft/post is 3" in diameter. If yours is the same and if you have access to a 3-D printer, you could save some time by downloading the 3-D file (it's free). You can find it easily by searching : "Drill Press Clamp/Bracket, 3" Post - for Loc-Line 2.5" Vac. Adapter." If your drill press has a different diameter shaft, and you are able to edit/modify 3-D objects, it would be possible to use my design and tweak it for your needs. Good luck.
