Battery holds charge an AMAZING amount of time!
Got this item Jan 2023/Reviewing it Feb 2024. Thought I might try camping during the upcoming summer. After receiving it I had to try it to make sure it worked. I have used it many, many times since receiving it, and most of those have been at my house! Now the water stream is not going to be anything like what would come out of your shower, but it does have a good flow coming out of it. It pulls water up from your container & the container is pretty low when it starts making noises of difficulty. The BATTERY CHARGE on this is fantastic - I hadn't used it for at least 2 1/2 months & thought I might have to recharge it, but got several more uses out of it before I finally decided to go ahead & recharge it, it never did totally die on me. You don't want this to die right in the middle or using it! lolThis item is great around the house, I've actually used it for shower offs in the garage after working in the yard - I stand in a kiddie pool for the water to collect & spray myself off. Where I live in the southwestern desert, we have had restricted water measures due to drought & I actually used this in my shower with a 5 gallon bucket to take showers rather than let the actual shower head run- yes I know you can buy special shower heads that restrict flow, but alot of water still goes down the drain when standing under those heads. Now I spray myself, soap up & rinse off with just the water in bucket. The shower head has a knob to turn to shut off water but I just put the head into the bucket & the water pumped out stays in bucket, I'm taking shorter showers now which is also good overall. You'll probably find you can use this in many ways other than just when camping but due to the long lasting battery it's great for extended trips.

Shower Head
Amazing product felt like just taking a shower at home The only downside is it goes through water quickly. Otherwise it is a great product..

Amazing for saving water when combined with a portable bucket - Lasts more than 2 weeks on 1 charge
Originally purchased this for a camping trip I had planned but quickly realized I could use this to save water by using a collapsible bucket I also intended for camping.Every day I shower, I place my shower's detachable shower wand into a collapsible bucket to collect water while I prepare to shower. Once it's done, I use this rechargeable shower to use up whatever I've collected in that 5L bucket.First and foremost, on the lowest power setting with the additional water-flow gauge set to the lowest I could tolerate (which is not the lowest it's capable of being set to), this wand lasted 2 weeks with daily showers, sometimes 2 showers a day. I may have lasted longer but I decided to recharge it before I headed off on my camping trip. I know the newer designs have a separate battery supply that doesn't get dunked in water but this wasn't a problem. I generally wait for the unit to dry before attempting to charge it, anyway. My showers usually comprise of turning the pump off and on 3-4 times while I soap up, so it's not continuous use during a single shower. I try to minimize how much water I waste.I think some improvements can be made with the button design, however, that would make it easier to operate, especially given you're likely to try to reach it with soap on your eyelids. The power button should be a different color and texture from the M button so you can either see or feel that it's different. That way, it's very easy to feel when you're reaching around in the bucket of water with limited to no visibility. Additionally, I wouldn't like the new design anyway, because that's just another cable that can sever and another point of failure. I don't like the proprietary barrel charger and it could be improved using USB-C.The build quality seems sturdy and made of hard plastic. The secondary control gauge that you place on the neck of the wand is a bit low-quality plastic and feels like it can break if you twist it too hard. The pump/battery casing feels very sturdy. I haven't dropped it at all, so I have no idea if it would survive a fall. The M button controls the power mode but I found the low-power setting to be more than sufficient. The high-power mode goes through 5L way too fast and defeats the purpose of being able to save any water. It probably pumped through 5L in less than a few minutes. If you save the greywater you used to wash off, you'd have a formidable water-saving system going here.

Great for on the go and emergencies!
This is great solution for those on the go or emergencies! Just fill a bucket or bin with water and boom, instant shower! Recently our gas lines had a leak and fixing it would cost a pretty penny so bathing had been hard, at first we’d use an electric stove to heat water MULTIPLE times to take a bath, then we upgraded to an immersion heater. That would still take 2+ hours per bath. So I figured finding a way to shower would be the easiest and most cost effective solution in this time. Got an 18gal tote from Walmart, found this and paired my immersion heater (now only takes 30+ minutes to heat water) and this is just as good as a regular shower. The water pressure is decent and I love that it comes with a water valve controller to conserve water each use! So easy to set up, just put the shower head on the hose and turn it in and drop in the water. Very compact to store away in its bag for easy storage. The battery lasts long enough for multiple showers (about four (4) 8-9min showers)! And for anyone wondering, yes 18 gallons of water is enough for 2 full showers!
