Good product, worth the price, will need to tinker a bit with it.
I bought these brackets because my original amount only fitted a 55” TV and I recently upgraded to a 65”.I didn’t want to move my mount (drill new holes, patch, repaint, etc) plus the new Hisense TV I bought had the mounting holes much lower than my previous Samsung. The brackets are at great quality, and even though they are supposedly made for a specific mount/manufacturer, they are universal enough that fit mine very well. The picture alone made it easy to see if they were going to fit. I know some reviews on here said they had to drill new holes, but this was not my experience at all. Here is the downside- the hardware (machine screws) that came with it seemed pretty flimsy to me. To be safe I just went to an ace hardware store to buy my own bolts/nuts and got a more heavy duty set, which was not a big deal because i had to buy new mounting spacers anyway. All in all, I’m happy with the the installation, and the amount of work/headache it saved me from buying a new mount, or moving my existing mount.

Great little tv mount extension!
Great amount of height adjustment options. Looks good and works good for its intended purpose. Great value for the money. Very easy to install! Great sturdiness and all the hardware I needed!

Works great!
I previously had a Samsung 75 in and I was replacing it with the new Hisense 75U8N and unless I wanted to try to find the studs again and remount the main wall mount bracket I ended up using these! Perfect everything lined up made the television look at the proper height when sitting on the couch. While I had the old TV off installed the Sanus in wall cable management system to run all the HDMI fiber optic power and everything looks so much neater that it's all back together! I would highly recommend doing that because it just makes everything look so good with zero wires in view. These new mounting brackets are definitely sturdy so no worries! Go for it! It's been up since June 0 problems.

Works. Strong and sturdy too
Replaced a 55 inch LG 1080p tv with a Sony 65 OLED. The vesa bolt pattern was much lower on the Sony. These two brackets allowed me to mount the TV in the same horizontal plane on the wall.

Adequate but poorly designed
This product is NOT amazing. It is at best adequate. It is poorly designed. The bar should have a hole, slot, hole, slot, etc design like any mounting bracket ever made (for the bottom group of holes). But no. So, the top TV bolt must be placed into a slot of the TV mount. This puts the majority of weight on this extender with the weak link being the two bolts in this kit holding the adapter on. So, the bolts should have been a size larger and longer. But again no. This extender is designed for one VIVO product and is NOT meant to be versatile or generic, greatly limiting its application. I needed to extend a 500mm long mount another 100mm to 600mm. This adapter was the same width and so could not be installed as shown. Fortunately, I was able to use spacers that came from the mounting kit to hold it off a bit (sadly making the TV to wall distance greater). It could have been generic if it only had a single side curled. I'm tired of saying "But no." Why did I need an extender? I did want to lower my TV from the ceiling, but it was not my real motivation. TVs and wall mounts do not contain their Vesa Mount information in the description. Whenever I buy a product for my car, Amazon Garage checks that it will fit. But there's no Amazon Home for TVs, etc. There is no way to search TVs or wall mounts for Vesa size (and bolt size). That's something Amazon needs to fix.

A life saver for some larger TVs...
I recently upgraded our TV from a 65" to a 77", but when mounted to our existing wall mount, the mounting holes on the back of the 77" were in a slightly different spot, meaning the TV overall, sat lower on the wall, overlapping the wall mounted soundbar. This obviously wasn't going to work.I thought about changing the wall mount, however, the rock-tile-faced fireplace has been tiled around the existing wall mount and power/connectivity sockets, so that would be a BIG job to move all of that.If there was only a way to extend the length of the wall mount arms, then the TV could sit at the same height as the previous 65" TV....And then I found these - life saver! Very simple to install, felt as sturdy and secure as if they were a single piece of metal, and most importantly, they had everything I needed in the box, at a great price, to help lift my 77" TV higher on the wall, and solve my issue. There were lots of options doing a similar thing, but I've purchased from VIVO before, and trusted that it would work, and it did.

Lowered my TV without drilling more holes!
I needed to lower my TV. Originally, I thought I needed to drill more holes into the wall to lower the bracket on the wall. Then I found this solution. It works perfectly. Now my TV is lower. The kit includes all you need to lower/raise a TV. nuts have a nylon lock on it to prevent the screw from backing out this maintains strong connection for the whole life cycle. So long as you don't tighten and loosen multiple times. Should move a TV 6 inches.
