perfect for taking my camera ARCA tripod and using survey equipment. The small screw is of very high quality and appears to be stainless. Very happy.

No issues with the adapter itself, used it for mounting a rotary laser level, which has a 5/8”-11 female thread, to a camera tripod, which has a 1/4”-20 thread. The adapter screwed in and did what it was supposed to do, but this application, mounting a laser level, of the adapter is not advisable as a camera tripod does not have the stability that is needed for a level. A camera tripod is meant for mobility and less on the stability. I ended up buying a construction tripod.

When thieves took my laser lever that took the tripod adapter with it. I had to kluge an adapter made from a 5/8" bolt with a 1/4" tapped hole while I waited for this adapter to arrive. This adapter is much better quality that the one I made in 15 minutes but costs quite a bit more. I feel better using a factor build adapter to support a $1600 instrument.

This adapter was screwed into the Bosch work light perfectly. It fitted the regular photographic tripod as expected.

I was looking for a 1/4" to 5/8" adapter, so I could connect my projector platform (5/8" hole) to my camera tripod (a taller tripod than the projector shelf came with, but with a 1/4" screw), and the original adapter I bought (sized for a microphone) had too fine of thread on the 5/8" side.
