Purchased this for my battery-powered chainsaw and pole saw. Since bar and chain oil inevitably ends up on the wood I’m cutting—and much of that wood eventually winds up in my fireplace—I like the idea of using a biodegradable, plant-based product rather than conventional petroleum-based oil. I’ve now used it in both saws and have found it every bit as effective as traditional bar and chain oil. It lubricates well, stays on the chain, and I haven’t noticed any compromise in performance.
