I was looking for reusable, strong, food safe bags to use for food prep and freezing. Lerine bags are perfect! Thick enough to prevent freezer burn, airtight and leak proof, so I’m not afraid to use it to marinate meat and put it in the dishwasher. Great for meal prep, also love how makes refrigerator look super neat and organized. Absolutely recommend it to anyone!

I purchased the gallon bags as a replacement to using gallon freezer bags when storing leftover pizza (which we frequently have). I’ve always been hesitant to use reusable bags for ‘wet food’ , but figured I would start using for something specific.Cleaning: I know these are dishwasher safe, but I am not sure how you could securely stand these up on the top rack unless you have a dishwasher with a tall upper rack. For the gallon ones, unless you have a dishwasher that can hold stemmed wine glasses upright, assume you will be hand washing these, which I need to do. Cleaning them is not bad, as the bag is fairly durable so you don’t feel like you are going to easily rip it. Efficiently drying these can be a little challenging, unless you have a drying rack, or something that you can use to prop open face down.Freezing: perfect for freezer, holds two NY slices in one bag (although I know that picture I posted has smaller slices). It is a little more challenging to open the bag when you take it out of the freezer, but not difficult enough to prevent me from using.I also think the bags protect the food a bit better than the disposable freezer ones.Overall: The bags feel durable, are easy to press close and securely holds items . I am happy with my purchase and will continue to use.

Bought these to try and minimize waste with my kids lunches. They are cute with the colors and good size. I have hand washed and dish washed and they seem to hold up well. The dishwashing can make them a bit wrinkly. Overall a good product and can make you feel great about minimizing waste.

These bags are well made, and even the zipper closure is also silicone - so be aware that if you use them in the freezer, they are going to be more difficult to open until the bag thaws and becomes a little bit more flexible. That being said, these bags are fantastic. I have used them for hot and cold things, everything from whole berries, to cooked tomato sauce. They do stain with some foods, obviously, but they clean up beautifully. The only thing I think could be improved would be a gusset on the bottom so that they stand flat when you fill them - but that is absolutely not necessary. I usually place them in a bowl as I fill them with whatever food stuffs I'm storing. More importantly, when they are filled in sealed they lay nicely flat for easy stacking in the freezer, and when they are frozen solid, I brought them up on their side vertically so I can just grab and go when I need something. And most importantly for me, I am no longer buying Ziploc bags that wind up in a landfill or floating in the ocean.

They work great. We use them mostly to freeze bread when we buy them fresh. The bread stays well for a long time. We also use them to store cut vegetables. We sometimes use them to store stew. They are leakproof and work well.

I got these for my kid's lunch and they have held up well for a whole school year. Even when they got left at school and were filled with rotten food for a week, they didn't stain.That said, these may survive a run in the dishwasher but they were left permanently wrinkled. Other reviewers have said the same. Now I only hand clean them and prop them open to air dry.Now I'm purchasing the gallon size to store my frozen goods.
