Perfect Replacement Bulb For My Big Box Lights!
These lights last forever! After I accidentally dropped my box light, breaking the bulb I currently had I needed a quick replacement. After doing my research these were a perfect match. They're very bright and help pull the true colors out of the items I'm shooting.

Really bright light!
These lights are a bit cool to my eye but that’s subjective. They certainly are a vast improvement over the wimpy bulbs that came with my lighting kit. They turned a home hobby product into professional gear for a fraction of the cost of pro lighting.

Seem to meet their claimed brightness when compared to an incandescent
Are nice and bright for photo work. They may compare to an incandescent, but are far dimmer than a 500W halogen photoflood. Color looks ok, so they work well in my photoflood lamp mounts. Just remember they get pretty hot and need ventilated hoods.I am pretty well satisfied with these.

Power Rating is Greatly Exaggerated!
My first impression when I received this bulb was that it’s big, very big. I thought it would be extremely bright, but after plugging it in, it was nowhere near as bright as I expected. I then used a power meter to test the wattage, and it only measured around 55 watts. However, both the website and the packaging state that it’s 135 watts. This is a serious case of overstatement! Additionally, this bulb doesn’t come close to the advertised 6000 lumens. I have a 4000-lumen bulb that’s incredibly bright, and by comparison, this one only reaches about 2000 to 3000 lumens at best. Another serious exaggeration! I’ve already returned it, and overall, I would not recommend buying this product.
