I am enthusiastically thrilled with these exercise devices. Whoever engineered these things is a genius! I am a stroke and quadruple bypass survivor. I lost most of the strength in my left arm to the point that I can't control a drink handed to me in a drive through window. I have tried working out in a very nice gym on weight training apparatus, but it gets frustrating when I can't curl anything more than 20 pounds, nor can I press more than 30. These water devices will allow me to build up my strength gradually over time until I am ready to hit the gym again with confidence.

These are extremely well-made and easy to use. They provide excellent resistance for both push and pull movements, which you can do at the same time. In other words, you get resistance in both directions so you can work chest and back in the same exercise, for example. It also comes with a sheet of suggested exercises.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about these after I received them BUT I LOVE them! I use these in the pool along with my other "dumb bells". The quality of the plastic is strong/sturdy, the handles make them easy to use in the water and with the slats I get the resistance that I need without the strain on my neck.

These are great for toning and building muscle.

I used these in water therapy and was impressed enough to order my own set to use in the pool at my campground.
