Would this work if I don't have the existing net frame? It broked.

It would work without a frame but the product is so cheaply made it will rip if not handled with a light touch.

Can it be stuck to window a/c units to keep out wasps?

Good idea! Don’t know how much humidity the tape would stand. But the screen material is soft and pliable. If you adhere the Velcro tape in a way that the screen goes around the unit, I think it would work. Good luck!
