I am notorious for killing my hair clips but these have lasted a decent amount of time. The square hold the hair better than the rounded ones, I also got two brown instead of one of the olive color but I don't mind. I have hair that is average thickness but on the finer side and reaches to the center of my back, these stay in place for a good four ish hours if I am not doing something crazy.
