Kids Iron Gummies | Iron and Vitamin C | 30 Gummies | Novomins

I recently bought the Kids Iron Gummies by Novomins for my child, hoping to give their energy and immune system a little boost. I was pleasantly surprised by a few things: Taste: Often, children's vitamins can have a peculiar taste, making it a challenge for parents to get their kids to take them. However, these gummies were a hit! My child loves the taste and looks forward to having them daily. Vegan-Friendly: It's great to find a kid's supplement that's vegan. It’s a definite plus for families like mine who are conscious about plant-based products. One Month Supply: The package comes with a one-month supply, which is convenient. I don't have to constantly restock. Chewable Format: No struggles with swallowing pills! The chewable format is perfect for kids. However, I hope in the future there's more clarity on where to find refills or bigger packs. For now, these have been great, and I can see the difference in my child's energy levels. Kudos to Novomins for creating a product that's both kid-friendly and effective!

My toddler likes the taste of these and will happily eat one a day, I have to hide them as she asks for more. Such a relief after first trying the iron drops with little success due to the awful taste. I would recommend these ones, they have no strong smell and have a pleasant taste. I do find they have an after taste but this hasn’t put my daughter off. The texture of these gummies are pleasant. Not too hard or too chewy so perfect for younger children.

We’ve been using kids’ iron gummies for a few weeks now to try and support my child’s low iron levels, and there are definitely good things — but also some drawbacks. Overall, they’re helpful, especially for short-term use, though you’ll want to keep an eye on a few issues. ⸻ What’s good: • My child tolerates them much better than liquid iron or pills. The gummy format makes them feel more like a treat, and there’s much less fuss at “medicine time.” • They taste okay (depending on flavour) and are more “kid easy” to take up regularly. • Added vitamin C helps absorption, which seems to help with energy and general “bright-ness” during the day. ⸻ What didn’t go so well / what to watch out for: • They can be sticky — some of the gummies tend to clump or stick together, especially if the bottle sits in warm or moist places. • There is sometimes an aftertaste — metallic, or “iron-y” — which some kids dislike. That can make finishing a pack harder. • Digestive effects are possible: mild upset stomach, possible constipation or change in stool, especially when first starting or if eaten without food. • Because they taste pleasant and are shaped like sweets, there’s a risk kids might want more than the recommended dose. Over-consumption can be dangerous with iron. • Also, the level of iron per gummy isn’t always enough in severe deficiency; but too much also carries risk. It’s a balance. If you need something tolerable and kid-friendly, and you want to boost iron levels without battling with tastes or drops, these gummies are a solid option for short to medium term. They won’t replace medical treatment if there’s serious deficiency, and honesty: some of the quality (stickiness, packaging, aftertaste) could be better. But for what they are — a supplement for regular maintenance / mild deficiency — they do work.

My children love these gummies. Iron ones can sometimes have a bit of an after taste, but these dont. I use multivitamins so it was very difficult to find iron gummies for children with no other vitamins in them. These are the only ones I found and they dont break the bank.

These have been brilliant for my kids who needed an iron boost without the horrible little side effects you get from the pharmacy strength iron supplements. Tasty, effective good price and convenient. I do really rate this brand having used other supplements that they make for kids. I definitely think these have helped my children not get as ill this autumn since taking them.

My toddler loves the taste, tastes like gummy bears. Haven't noticed major health differences but i like that my baby takes it without complaining

Very good product. The gummies are delicious and soft enough for kids to chew. My son is autistic so getting vitamins and minerals in his system is VERY difficult but thank God he loves these gummies!

Yes, these have a low iron content. But, I have a neurospicy kiddo who is especially particular about taste, and she says these are tasty. I will be giving her probably 4 per day to get her the iron she needs. So, the bottle won't last a month, but she'll actually eat them, and that's what we really needed to find. Edit after over a month of use: I'm giving my almost 7-year-old 3 of these a day, and she has stopped compulsively eating ice!
