We are foodies and the new trend of smoked whiskeys and crafted cocktails are regular items we order on the menus when eating out. Bought this set and figured I could wow our guests when we have dinner parties every now and then. The set works like a charm and is fairly easy once you get the hang of the steps to prepare properly. The presentation is fantastic and impressive! Wish the flavor would be a little stronger....then again I may not have done it just right the first few times! Definitely would recommend and buy again for gifts when holidays roll around.

The smoker works great. The wood chips are a little small and that is the only reason I gave it four stars. Occasionally they drop into the cup.

I ordered this because it was such a great price (Under $10 when I ordered). I thought at least the wood chips would be good to replen my stock. Once I received it though I was impressed that it was such a nice kit. The packaging is excellent, and the components are very good quality. I actually ended up giving it to my son as a birthday gift. We smoked a couple of bourbons to celebrate and it worked great. Overall very happy with the kit, and I keep my eyes on it to see if it goes on sale again. I like to keep a few things on hand for impromptu gifts, and this would be a great one.
