Great for semi-hydroponics for tropical plants
I use these pots to grow Anthuriums in LECA (no soil semi-hydroponics), and they work great! The water level indicator, while feels cheaply made, work well enough. If you keep the water level high like I have to with semi-hydroponics, then the water level indicator is perfect. If you keep the water level low, you risk the indicator getting stuck, and you'll have to give the pot a tap or a shake to get the water indicator to work again. The cache makes flushing the LECA in semi-hydroponics seamless, as you can just take out the inner pot without disturbing the root system.

Great purchase/happy plants!
Very happy with these watering planters. I have African violets in them, in my kitchen sink.. garden window. Just took a week long trip. Came home and my violets looked happier when I came home than when I left. Happy with price for the quality, which is good. They don’t look like “plastic”.
