I've been soldering my whole life, and I've sucked some solder in my day, but this is the best solder sucker I've ever used. It's a better built device than any I've had before, with a smooth action, a virtually silent operation, and it just works beautifully. A second press after the completion of the suction expels the waste solder from the gun. The silicone tip won't get stuck by the solder due to the silicone tip. It works smoothly, perfectly and silently each time I press the button to enter stealth mode, and I'll never again buy a cheap solder sucker! I've spent my life buying sucking devices that work, but aren't pleasing to operate. Remember those little Yugo cars? I've been apparently operating Yugo solder suckers my whole life, but now I've purchased the Bentley of solder suckers and it's a life-changing experience! I'm spoiled and will never go back. This has an elegant and solid feel, Sure, it's a bit more expensive, but not that much more! After trying this out, I fully expect it will operate much, much longer than the cheap ones, thereby earning it's price!

Amazing tool once you have the hang of it. Use this to assist in doing stick swaps on controllers to remove solder. It along with the de uni A heating pad has made the process pretty streamlined and easy for me. I have had no issues with this sucker it works very well for the job I've been using it for and it cost a fraction of the price of the well known name brand one.

I used to do a lot of soldering/de-soldering back when I was employed in electronics, hence I miss the fancy de-soldering equipment that's out there today. But since I don't have a place for all this equipment, this solder sucker tool is a good tool for occasional de-soldering, and it's cheaper and smaller than the large de-soldering units I used to use.

1. don’t disassemble the rear side of it, you could lose suction permanently 2. if the button feels too hard to push, add some lubricant to the metal cylinder where the latch catches. Mine was so bad I’d shake the whole thing trying to push the button and miss the solder. I kind of wish I had just spent the extra $10 to get the japanese one instead of this knockoff, but I don’t solder often so I still expect this to last a while. It does work pretty good, it just seems like a slightly flawed imitation to me. Also some of the pre cut spare silicone nozzles are too short to use, wish they just included uncut silicone tubing.

Works great, very strong suction just make sure you have it completely covering the melted solder for maximum suckage!

Have not actually tried it yet but was impressed with the build quality and happy with the price. Update, have been using this solder sucker for some time now. It works very well. As advertised it does not normally get clogged up. I never use any of my other solder suckers anymore. This one is far superior. A couple of things I have done to make this product even better. First finish is very slick. I found it diffucult to use right out of the box because as soon as I pushed the button I could not hold on to it. I wrapped some of the cloth based electrical tape around barrel at top and bottom which helped tremendously. The other problem I had was retaining the short little piece of silicone hose that helps to seal sucker to board to create that good suction. It's nice that they give you some extras, but I was looking them so frequently I was going to run out in the first week. So again using the same tape I split a short piece in half and wrapped it around silicone and spout and months later am still using same piece. Excellent product. Cant recommend enough.

This product works extremely well initially, though ive found that over time the no clog claim is false. Over time ive found that it is necessary to clean all the way back to the gasket, though I wish I knew what kind of lubricant is inside it so I could replenish it properly. You'll notice the clog once the needle requires quite a bit of force to push through with the plunger. I used this on a single PCB with a few hundred through holes to clean out, so its definitely getting worked thoroughly.

Really solid build. Great buy even if you just use it occasionally. You won’t regret it if you are using the cheap, plastic ones.
