Plenty of “stick” to my door frame and side lights. Easy to install and easily adjustable within the designated size range. I hung some fairly heavy curtains on the lights either side of my front door and they have not broken loose even when I move the curtains to take a peek out. How well they work for you will depend on the type/alloy of metal you are attaching them to. If you have a magnet handy it might be a good idea to try it on the target surface before you purchase these. Do not blame the Cafe' Rod if it doesn't adhere they way you expected it to.

These are super easy and very convenient to use on a sidelight window. They really do grab on to the wood if you have metal sidelight door windows. The only reason I'm giving it 4 ⭐ is because it did ruin the paint on the sidelight panel behind the magnet. Might be due to the type of paint (latex).

I opted for magnetic rods because I have a house with kids and figure they might get pulled every once in a while. These rods are designed so that the magnet should stay on the wall. The problem is that when you attach the rods as instructed, the adhesive strip not only adheres to the magnet, it's too big so it adheres to the whole plastic frame around the magnet. Also, magnets do not stick very well to adhesive strips, I found out. So after installing, if you try to pull the rod off the door frame, the magnet is so strong, it remains in the metal base of the rod, leaving the adhesive strip on the door with a layer of the magnet's brown finish. See my pictures and you'll get it. I tried to get the magnet out so I could cut a strip of the adhesive the right size for it, and it took me several minutes -- the only thing that worked was a metal paint scraper. Good luck with that if you want to remove the magnet. A better design would be to have the metal base be the part that sticks to the wall with the strips, and the magnet should be glued into the plastic. It's all backwards. If you really need a removable, working magnetic solution, don't waste your money.

Wow, I highly recommend these! They shipped fast, didn’t even need scissors to get out of the package, and popped them into my steel doorframe within 5 minutes of receiving thanks to the magnetic force! They come with sticky pads, I can only guess you’ll need if your door is not true steel. I did buy 2 packages to hang curtains tight on both sides of my door, without any holes in my new door and giving me privacy I can now relax when it’s dark outside again.

I wasn't sure what to do with the two sidelight windows next to my front door. I was dreading having to drill holes to install curtain rods or a shade. I then came across this product. It works! What a gem. I have sheer curtains on them. I may buy another pair for the bottom of each curtain as I have them only on the top right now.

THIS IS A GOOD ROOD FOR A STEEL DOOR. YOK CAN INSTALL IN A COUPLE SECONDS. LOVE IT.

I got these for the windows beside my door. Super easy to put together. They do look cheap, and I had a lot of difficulty with them staying put. When left alone they stay in place, but when they get bumped I have to do it all over again. I ended up getting a different set of a different color because I wanted a more decorative set. The ones I bought to replace ended up being much better.

If you ever needed a nine inch window curtain this is the way to go. The magnetic force these rods possess hold our curtains in place all day. I am sure they hold all night as well. When I wake they are hanging just like when I went to bed. What a wonderful product, I just can’t believe how lucky I am to have found this product.
