Decor Therapy Kyoto Wooden Bench, Black 42w 11.8d 17.75h

Originally purchased this bench from Homegoods in the color green for our new kitten to sit on while bird watching. He is very picky when it comes to cat furniture and for some reason he took in this bench immediately - sits, lays and sleeps on it. We needed another one for our bedroom as he loves to look out that window too, but Homegoods only ever carries the same items twice. The bench had no brand labeling on it so the hunt was rough! Amazon recommended it in the front page after days of searching for similar benches and I am one happy cat mom! The assembly was easy. Purchased the white color but it is more of an ivory, yellow toned color. It has some markings, making it look somewhat rustic looking and it really matches our bedroom furniture/decor nicely. Ours came slightly wobbly, but we have carpeted floors and it stays stable that way. Not sure if this serves as a good dining bench, maybe an entrance/mud room bench as it is quiet small, short and narrow, more like a kids bench.

Bench fits and functions perfectly at the end of the bed. Great product at a great price. Easy to put together, sturdy, nice color, simple design, just what we wanted for the space.

This is a really cute bench and perfectly suits my guest room. It was easy to put together and seems very sturdy. I took away a star only because the packaging was such a mess. I guess I should appreciate that there was so much styrofoam, but I ended up with tiny little bits of it everywhere. It was stuck to all the pieces of the bench, all over my floor, and all over me. It was really difficult to get it all cleaned up. Other than that, the bench is great. Highly recommend, just know it will be a little messy at first.

Arrived quickly and packed solid. Color is exactly as stated - Antique white, not a stark white, which makes it look more polished in the space. Sturdy & easy to put together. One or two different sized pillows completes the look for style & some comfort. Ours is in a new basement bathroom/laundry room combo. Thin enough not to take up a ton of space but big (deep) enough to sit w/out issues and lay your essentials for after your shower. Win, win

I like this product for the cost and ease of assembly. Instead of a pho-maple/light wood color, it came as a strange pinkish primer color, so I will be repainting them. However, the work very well for my situation, I did some additional sanding and wood gluing at the connecting points to add strength.

I was looking for a modern bench for the end of our bed. I was trying to avoid a fabric bench because we have a cat who likes to scratch everything. This bench was super easy for me to assemble by myself in a short amount of time. Love the way it looks!

I have purchased two of these benches. They are good quality and a real cinch to put together. Sturdy and solid. I use the benches frequently, and weigh 200 pounds. The only downside is the white flecks of styrofoam packaging that is stuck to the wood and ends up all over the floor. Minor annoyance.

This bench is cute. But when it took it out of the box, I knew I would need to repaint it--the paint finish is of a very poor quality. I ordered the white bench and it has a green-ish cast to to it. But the biggest issue is with Amazon's chosen carrier for shipping, which was for home delivery by the U.S. Post office. I ordered three of these benches. Only one of them was actually delivered to my home. For the other two, a note was left in my mailbox that I was not home when they attempted to deliver. Not true--I work from home and have security cameras on my porch. If I had known these would not be delivered to my home, I would have selected an option to pick up from an Amazon facility rather than spend more than a half hour in line at the post office to retrieve my purchased items.
