The color is nice and it is sturdy and perfect length. Very stiff and hard to stretch. It also has a knot.

Of the several Chinese jump ropes I have tried, this one seems like the best quality for the money and won't fray or break easily. It is most like the ones I remember using when I was in grade school. It is nice and long and the elastic isn't too narrow to dig into the back of your legs while holding the rope. If you need instructions on how to play, this rope doesn't come with any but for the experienced jumper it gets my vote!

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter and she loves it. The rope is good quality and sturdy.

I give it a 2 star because the description and question and answers for this product are inaccurate and some customer reviews are an outright lie. I was specifically looking for a Chinese jump rope that was a continuous loop with NO KNOT. The one one I grew up with didn't have a knot but was melded together. That is the kind of rope I was looking for. The photos for this rope are deceiving because they never show the knot. A lot of people are looking for a rope that doesn't have a knot. I don't give it a 1 star because the quality of the rope looks good, but if you're looking for a rope without a knot, THIS IS NOT THE ONE TO BUY! See my photo. Now I have to return this and continue the search. Ugh.
