For those with heavy people in the house, we've been replacing toilet seats a lot! I don't think we'll have to nearly as often! It may be a little more pricey than many but I'll tell you from the time we removed it from the box, it is much better made and sturdy.So far, having used it, I can honestly say I won't ever buy another "cheap seat". It's very comfortable for your bottom and feels so much better than others.Installation was very easy. Instructions were included and very good. There's also a video! If you ever think you've made a mistake, you can remove and fix your mistake really fast! My older son made a couple and it took just a sec or two to fix. It's adjustable so it should fit to your liking.So far, I can't complain about anything!

I needed a strong and sturdy lid. One that was rated for heavy weight. This is a great seat. Love the soft close lid.

The only toilet seat I have ever had that stays in place without sliding around. What they don’t show you in the item info is that there is a ridge on the bottom of the seat that form fits around the bowl for more stability.
