This is my first gimbal purchase and I almost bought DJI version but liked the ease of mode change on Zhiyun. Don’t have to log into the app to do it. This allows for quick change. The stabilization is great as well, even when running with it. There were some software quirks when the motors get loaded with weight if the phone gets in certain position. It is easily resolved by turning it in or off. Despite that, this provides great stabilization and ease of mode change so definitely the right purchase for me.

Have always been a little intimidated by gimbals because I thought they would be way too complicated for my 62 yr old brain. Then I tried this one. WOW! Very easy to learn. (I made small flash cards on a ring to carry around while I was filming so I could remember how many times to press the trigger etc for a certain task.) All it takes just a little practice. The app is great and the gimbal is so much fun! You'll be excited to get started but always remember NEVER POWER ON YOUR GIMBAL WITHOUT YOUR PHONE ATTACHED FIRST. The built in selfie stick and lights are all you need. Be sure to check out the "Glamor" mode - softens wrinkles and there is also a slim button which subtly slims your face. You control how much effect you want by sliding this bar from 0 to 100%. Also this mode also whitens your teeth. I love this gimbal and you will too! So many more cool features - check it out! (Remember to turn you bluetooth on so the gimbal can connect.) Have fun!

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the ZHIYUN SMOOTH Q4 I recently purchased from your platform. Despite ordering a brand new product, the item I received is clearly second-hand, and I am experiencing several issues with its performance. Upon receiving the package, I immediately noticed that the plastic seal was missing, and the box had already been opened. This is highly concerning as it indicates that the product was not in the new and untouched condition that I had paid for. Additionally, the presence of used spots on the ZHIYUN SMOOTH Q4 further confirms that the item has been previously used. Moreover, the device's performance is far from satisfactory. The rotation is unusually slow, and the product shuts down unexpectedly, which is a clear indication of malfunction. This is not the quality I expected when making the purchase. Given these issues, I find the entire situation unacceptable, and I request an immediate refund for my purchase. I believe it is only fair to receive the product I paid for, and as the item I received falls short of the promised new condition, I am left with no choice but to seek a refund. I kindly request that you process the refund as soon as possible and provide instructions for the return of the product. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

You'll see a lot of youtube videos using this with an iphone13 Pro and let me tell you straight up, if you have an iPhone case it will not work. That extra bit of weight throws off the whole thing and the gimble has a funky jittery motion. Iphone case isn't even that big so the weight of the phone itself must be right along the edge of what it can handle. It you're using your iPhone with no case it will be fine. Just keep that in mind. It's annoying to have to return a product that you want to work just because of a small weight issue. The other thing I dislike about this product that I feel like the online reviews don't mention is the lack of rotation and tilt this has. It's very limiting compared to Moxa Mini P. If you wanted to do a low-to-the-ground shot and hold the handle almost upside-down and crane up to someone's eye level, yeah, it's not happening. You can tilt down about 15 degrees before it starts to bug out. Same with the side-to-side rotation. You'll get about 10-15 degrees before it bugs out. So who exactly is this particular model for? The Q4 is really just for very very simple vlogging. I wouldn't even say it's for filmmaking of any kind, just face vlogging if you know what I mean. If you wanted to make little videos cooking or simple filmmaking, don't purchase this it's going to have a very hard time handing anything that's not at eye level. Its tilt and rotational access are so limiting that it can really only handle things like talking. It's fairly useless for anything beyond basic filming. And for some that's all they want, this is perfect for you and it's quite small and easy to carry around.

Sou produtor de vídeos educativos e achei o produto excelente. No início, tive a impressão de que ele apresentava um defeito, mas descobri que era uma questão de atualização de firmware, que, uma vez realizada, resolveu o problema rapidamente. Apenas sugiro uma apresentação mais agradável para o manual. O design do produto é muito bonito e, até o momento, na fase de testes, está funcionando perfeitamente.

This is a very capable gimbal with a wealth of features for the smartphone user. Multiple modes enable control in any situation likely to be encountered and, with the app, subject tracking works very well. With a modern phone (I use an iPhone 14 Pro) the resulting footage is silky smooth, and additional functions, such as hyperlapse, work well, allowing e.g. speeded up footage out of the phone, rather than needing to be created in post. Buttons are thoughtfully placed on the gimbal body, allowing quick access to the main functions during use. The extendable arm is very useful to get the right angles/framing and the combo kit includes a table-top tripod and a surprising powerful fill light. The app offers good control over the gimbal's features and a reliable, stable connection, although it takes a bit of getting used to - it's very easy to end up in the sharing/templates section when trying to set functions for a shoot. Overall a great piece of equipment and light/small enough to take anywhere with minimal effort.
