LawnMaster 48V MAX 17-inch Brushless Cordless Lawn Mower, CLMF4817E

I have to say when I first saw this LawnMaster 13” cordless lawnmower after I first assembled it. I thought what did I do? This is a child’s toy. My old Hart 20v was destroyed in a flood. This was its replacement. It came with two batteries and a charger. Assembly was easy. 10 minutes at the most. I didn’t even charge the battery and figured I will try cutting the grass. It was long and it was wet because we just got over a flood and it’s supposed to rain again tomorrow so I thought I better test this thing out. I was shocked. It did a phenomenal job. It’s so light and easy to maneuver. I absolutely love it. I can pick it up with one hand because it’s around 20 pounds. The battery life is phenomenal. I was able to cut my lawn with the uncharged battery. Very impressed. It’s quiet! Much quieter than my old mower. I was really shocked how little noise this thing puts out. It seems quite durable. It did not leave ruts in very wet grass. And for me that’s a huge plus. I love this thing. It’s so easy to store because it’s so small. If you’re looking for a light easy to maneuver lawnmower for a great price this is it. I wouldn’t want to cut a meadow with it but a regular lawn…it’s perfect. Perfect!

This mower is tiny. The blade is only 12" and sharpening it and keeping it balanced is a bit of a challenge, but overall, a very good product. It's fun to use, light weight, and the narrow box fits nicely between my raised garden beds. The grass catcher is easy to remove and put back on and it comes with two batteries. I need both batteries to mow the lawn and I don't have a large lawn, but even with all the rain, this one keeps up. I was impressed with it. Also, I am not a "lawn person" so this mower is simple to use and I like using it. Very little assembly too. Noise and vibration is very minimal.

Bought this lawnmower end of March this year 2026. Today was my 3rd time using it because I work ALOT and just dnt be having the time nor energy to mow my own lawn so most of the time I pay the guy in the neighborhood tht mows everyone else's lawn to do it. But today I had some time so I got up this morning to mow the lawn and it kept cutting off on me and smoking. I did some research and it said tht it cld possibly be overheating and to let sit for 30-60 minutes. I let it sit for over 6 hours and attempted to do it again once the sun went down and it came on for a good 10 seconds and turned off and wldnt come back on. I disassembled the entire lawnmower to check for rocks, grass, etc and there was nothing but a bag of some type of sand wrapped up in bubble wrap tht I never even knew was under there (they should say in instructions tht the bag is under there and to remove it b4 use) i removed the bag and reassembled the mower back together and attempted to mow my lawn again and it came on but the motor was very weak and it turned right back off. Mind u the other 2 times I used it, it worked just fine, motor was good, cut pretty good(i have a small lawn) no issues at all. Very disappointed because Ive barely gotten any use out of it smh.

This lawnmower for-sure functions. It mows. It also is like the cheapest battery powered mower you can buy on amazon. So I am glad to have it and that it arrived quickly and worked well. However, I want to note that this is for very occasional mowing and not really suitable for any sort of normal size yard where you are going to mow all the time. It *seems* like a toy mower. It is VERY cheaply made and clearly is not made to last a long time. Which is reasonable given its cost. So I gave it 4 stars since it is what it says it is, but it is so cheap-seeming and I am so skeptical of it working over the long term, I cannot give it five stars as if it is a good mower. It is totally workable for occasional mowing or a VERY small yard.

Prior to this mower, I used a 13", plug in electric to maintain lawns at two houses. I wanted to upgrade to a battery operated one because the 100' cord weighs more than the mower. This it the same size, but an upgrade in several ways. Height adjustment is one lever; no more wrestling with each wheel to feed it into the needed channel. Comes with two batteries, that have a good lifespan. One charge completed the lawn in the photos. This was very thick and overgrown so I exhausted one battery and used the second for about 50 square feet. I expect maintenance to use far less than 1 full charge. Having a small deck does make it take longer, but the mower is so light it takes a lot less effort. It's like pushing a vacuum. The lawn doesn't look that bad in the before image but when you see the after image, and the longer patch I didn't mow(because bunnies have a next there right now) you get an idea. It was over 12"high in wine places...

What a great little mower!!! I love this mower...in June I bought a lithelli mower, used it for a month and the handle snapped, im still checking to see if it can be repaired, from the onset the handle felt flimsy..but non the less I thought it would be ok...it wasn't...my grass was getting higher, I could not wait any longer, I ordered this Lawn Master, right out of the box the handle felt sturdier, I was so excited!! Putting it together was a breeze, took me 5 minutes...I took it out back, made sure the key was in the right position, and off we went!!! It is very quiet and it has decent battery capability.. it cuts like a dream, I dreaded mowing today, but I thanked God all over the back yard for such a nice mower.

FIRST USE 10/22/24: Very easy to set up! Only had to look at the directions once for one thing. Can also see setup on YouTube... “Full unboxing, setup & how to use: Lawnmaster Cordless 13-inch lawnmower 24v.” The grass catcher is solid just enough to hold the grass. Like the company wasn’t going to give an ounce more of a better quality of the plastic. First turn on: It’s very quiet! It’s very child like! “Very Fisher Price!” I’m 55 and I felt like I shouldn’t be using it unless I was 7 yrs old helping my dad cut a small portion of easy lawn to make feel like I was helping out and making me feel like I was a big boy. Or like I was an older widow and it’s just me left and I’m in my 70’s and I stay active and cut my very small simple lawn. I also felt like I may be embarrassed if someone had stopped by while using it. Lol. Does it cut grass?…Yes. You have to do double the laps because it covers only about half of what a regular mower would cut. And I had to go over some missed high grass. I bought this because I needed one more cut for the season and out of nowhere my regular mower didn’t start up. Worked last use and now it doesn’t. I’m not that man that knows how to tinker and take things apart like a mower to get it back up and running. So I researched this and thought there’s not much to figure out other than a dead battery. Battery: My yard I’d consider small but not tiny. There’s 4 fairly small portions to cut including the tree lawn. One battery died after about 30 minutes I think it was. (I wish I had timed it exact.) But I had enough to cut the rest with the second battery. This is definitely not going to handle anything heavy duty so be careful of rocks or foreign objects. I did buy a new inexpensive cordless battery operated weed wacker that can handle anything a bit harder. I’m 50/50 on this so I wish I could give it 2 1/2 stars but I’ll give it a 3. It’s good enough but I’m not sure if a friend would’ve let me borrow it that I would’ve wanted to buy one. I do wonder if I should’ve just put another 50 bucks or so and just bought a regular mower. Not great but not bad either. Just feelings…Lol.

So far so good. I usually don't like to leave product reviews for a while after using the product. I can't really see what could go wrong. I'll give you the meat and potatoes right away. This mower is cheap, light weight, simple to use right out the box, and handy. If you got electricity you mowing. No dying battery worries. No gas needed. No spark plug changes, etc etc. Now you will have to be the type of person who can think through cord placement. Think of elders, MS / Multiple Sclerosis individuals, Rheumatoid arthritis, and / or basically anyone who wants to mow their grass on their own, but struggles with strength or muscle strength fluctuations, etc. The only small caveat I would mention is your grip. If your grip is off and on, I'd get a weightlifting strap to wrap around the handle to ensure you can keep the lever engaged. Or maybe I just have small hands. The lever to move up and down is pretty simple. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS A CHEAP MOWER SO IT WILL FEEL AND LOOK LIKE A TOY! But it is mighty. Noisy...lol. But when I tell you it cuts grass like no other. My backyard grass was high and grows like thats its full time job. You can literally sit out there and watch it grow if you wanted. lol I could literally mow it every 4 days and it would like that. The mower did what most do. I've had gas as well as the reason why I got this mower was as a backup to the Dewalt Battery mower I have. Ugh Dewalt gets on my nerves. Anyhoo its more expensive and in the shop right now. I wanted this as a backup so if all else fails as long as I got electricity I'm mowing. It bogs down like any mower would in high grass but tip back on those back wheels just a smidge and it comes back to life...never dies. At this price even if it only lasts one season, I've got my money's worth. I got the 2 year warranty. But I really can't see what could go wrong. I believe in fresh air and some physical activity for my MS. The fact that I have to stop and work with the cord is a plus. It forces me to stop and rest more. I'm not exhausted by the heavy mower. I call it my tonka toy lol

Awesome little mower, powered through 10 inch damp grass without issue. Such a great little mower and unbeatable price point. Why would I purchase a $600 mower with batteries that won’t last a season. Highly recommend this mower as a corded mower.

Hasta el momento ha funcionado muy bien, ya llevo mas de 20 horas usandola, segando 2 areas de 20 x 40, con cesped de tamaño mediano, se opera muy bien, es bastante ligero para maniobrar, no se batalla nada, lo único que no me gusta mucho es la palanca de arranque, se ve muy frágil el plástico, a ver cuanto dura.

Easy to put together, well built. Does what I expected and needed. Happy with this purchase.
