Bought to use on my griddle
These lights are great. I bought them to use on my griddle which is on my deck and doesn't always have great light if I'm working in the evening. I have a lid for the griddle and the magnets stick to it really well. I put one on each side and they provide enough light for me to cook, or to clean up the griddle when I'm done.

Good for gifting

Useful lights; quality control could be better
These lights work well (when they work), and they have strong magnets that adhere well to basically anywhere I put them on my grill. The LED's themselves are pretty pure white, so they cast a very neutral light - in total darkness this can look a little blue, but I think that's just because we're used to seeing warmer light at night. The white light does make it easy to see if food is done, though. I'm taking a star off because one of my lights has been flaky since day one. It's the switch; I have to wiggle it around for the light to stay on. It's just a quality control thing. These are not expensive lights so I'm not too annoyed about it but I just can't really give them five stars because of that. I do also wish the goosenecks were a little stronger. Especially in heat (as they will be once on your grill), they loosen up and seem to just barely stay in position. Still, I'm happy to have these - I was previously often cooking while holding my phone up in one hand to see. These make it a lot easier.

Great product
This was a Christmas gift for my husband. Living in Florida, he grills almost every night, but now that it gets dark so early, he needed light while cooking. These are working perfectly. He has them set on the side of the grill aiming to the inside of it. As well, he can pick it up and walk around with it if he needs to. Great product!
