I am visiting my mother. She says “you gotta get one of these. It will change your life.” Really? (I roll my eyes) Well I did, and it did! The old stove top kettle: you put water in, not sure how much so you just guess. Then put it on the stove but be careful about going too far away! It takes forever to boil but you can’t go far lest you forget and the thing whistles for all the neighbors to hear, plus it boils over making a watery mess all over the stove. Now, don’t forget to turn the burner off!! This glass electric kettles is soooo much better!! You see how much water is in it, or how much to use. It works very fast and shuts off when it reaches a full boil. I fill my tea mug with water, pour into the kettle and it boils in quick time. It really has changed my life! I now enjoy making (and drinking) tea way more often. Need boiling water to soak the pinto beans? No problem and no fear of forgetting it’s on. Like cup o’ noodles? You’ll like em a lot more with the ease of this kettle! I absolutely love this thing and now tell my friends and visitors that it will change THEIR life!! I’ve had this kettle about 6 months and it is working perfectly. And, oh yeah, the kettle has no tether/cord attached to it. It sits on a platform that is plugged in so when pouring the water the kettle is free--nice feature. But just one little thing: the electric cord is barely long enough, only 15". Not sure why they don’t make the cord a bit longer, but it works okay for me.

Been using this tea kettle for 9 months at my job, gets used many times throughout the day by myself and other employees, I purchased while it was on sale and I have been very happy with it and would buy again for a basic electric kettle.If wish it had different temperature control settings for brewing more delicate green teas, but for the cost and being it’s used at work, I’ve been really impressed with this kettle, The blue light looks cool when the kettle is boiling water and that sparks a lot of attention from employees, I jokingly tell them I’m making blue ice meth and get a chuckle from them.Most important features of this kettle for me are:-There’s mostly glass in contact with the water-The lid locks close and opens with a slide switch(Trust me you will be happy the lid has a locking device, for safety ! No hot burns ! The glass is insulated and doesn’t get hot to the touch either)-the base has a cord storage-the large rocker power switch is ergonomicFor the price I’d buy this again, I have a different more expensive electric kettle at home made by Comfee, and I like this Brevo kettle better.I temperature control would of been nice but I just let it cool for about 10 minutes before I brew delicate green tea.This kettle has exceeded my expectations and is still being used almost everyday at work by myself or a few employees whom like tea.

I bought it 5 years ago and just died. Well made and long life.

I purchased a BREVO Back in July/2020, it was great.. and broke accidentally no fault of the product, ran great heated up fast, felt solid. 9/24/20 I reordered the BREVO with the 'buy it again' button in my Ordered items.. but it was different this time.. but I thought I re-ordered the.. yeah I did, they changed the product. This should really be a new listed item, its fairly different from the previous one. The new one feels flimsy, takes longer to heat, doesn't open up as wide to pour water in, and the plastic filter keeps falling off into the pot. I do like the button to open the lid. That is nice. We purchased this BREVO Double Wall Cordless Electric Glass Kettle with LED Blue light back in March 2018 (it is now August 2019, so it is now 18 months since purchase) and we loved it for most of the time we've had it! Especially since this was our second purchase of the product, the first was as a gift for my neighbors and they loved it so much, we got it for ourselves. It has worked great until about a month ago when the button that you press to turn it on started sticking and it no longer shuts off automatically once it reaches the boiling point of water, it just keeps boiling. Also, have noticed the top sometimes pops open a little while it is boiling the water. It would be great if we could get a replacement since overall it has worked great!

I used this multiple times a day since purchasing it at the end of November - it heats up fast and works great! Except.....this morning it wouldn't turn on. I have emailed the seller and the manufacturer to see about a warranty replacement but as for the product itself, I'm disappointed in how long it survived, but loved everything else about it, hence the 2 stars.Update: I contacted the seller to complain about it lasting only 4 months and they shipped me out a new one, which I received yesterday (shipping the new one took a little bit longer than I'd have liked but I did get it!) Since they didn't have me return the broken one, I tested out out problem and it was in the pot itself (the old base works with the new one...so there is a short circuit in the pot somewhere.) As long as this one lasts longer than the last one, I say both the seller and product deserve 5 stars.Update 12/2020 the replacement is still going strong, I highly recommend!
