Arrived in two days. Will not be able to use for a while, however appear both durable and strong enough to suffice.

The only thing that can get those deep gut hooks out without causing more damage to the fish!

I don't fish much so I'm not expert at anything, especially getting swallowed hooks out of fish. This is a simple, easy method to cover the barb of the hook so the hook can be extracted without damage. Pliers can grab the hook but the barb is still exposed and will surely gut the fish as the hook is pulled out.

So for clarity, I was out fishing and an older fisherman had these. I caught two fish before he did and he laughed at me struggling to get the hook out that my trout swallowed. It didn't help that my dog wanted to eat the fish that was flopping around. When he finally caught one he, grabbed out this tool and within seconds he had the hook out and his fish back in the water on his stringer. He held up the tool and smiled at me....as soon as I was back to my car I ordered one for myself.

For me it is a bit difficult to use . But better to have and not need than need and not have .

Work as advertised. Thought they would float. They unfortunately don’t.

Not much to say other than they work as they should.

Takes s bit of use to get the hang of hook removal, with this product. Small hooks are easier to remove, the large hooks I still use long nose Pliers.
