Bose SoundLink Flex Bluetooth Portable Speaker, Wireless Waterproof Speaker for Outdoor Travel-Black

Bose used to be a flawless company when it came to speakers. I have the first generation Revolve Plus and it was outstanding. Then I got some other products like the Home Speaker 500, the Bose TV Speaker and the Bose Portable Home Speaker and they all had a very manufactured thumpy sound. I tried to hear in various settings and style but nearly all of those speakers failed to emulate the first gen Revolve Plus. Then along came 2nd gen of Revolve Plus, a tenacious great speaker. I tried a bunch of Marshall's and appreciated them. I own the Stanmore and the Emberton. When the Flex got rave reviews, I waited for it to come to India before I could buy..Now 40 days have passed and here are my findings...Build Quality - Outstanding, rugged, beautiful, compact, cute to behold. One small demerit is I am having a tough time cleaning it. But it is so good that I would give the build quality a perfect 10. The buttons are so cushy to touch and overall I love it, love it.Sound Quality - This is adequately loud for 90% of settings unless you have a gathering of 20 people. For most upto 8-10 people gathering this is punchy. The sound is so much better than the other Bose speakers that I have run into lately. I listen to a lot of Punjabi, house, Deep house, electronic, Indie, Sufi, Jazz, Podcasts, Cricket, Youtube Videos and this is absolutely brilliant. For most of it, it sounds better than even my Revolve Plus which is my favourite speaker of all time. The sound is so pleasing. It makes the Emberton sound thick and corny. 10/10Value - yes this costs Rs 16,000 but it is totally worth it as it connects easily. Has a good 8-10 hour battery life. Lovely build quality. Overall a very loveable speaker.I recommend this to any one who has a JBL, the difference between this and a charge 5 is the difference beween an iphone 13 pro max and a Samsung A series phone.Take care guys.Hope you found my review helpful. The sound quality is rich and premium. There is that thump in the base. The thump neither washes out other frequencies nor becomes artificial. Even at lower volumes, you can feel that thump. The loudness is also good and can easily fill a drawing hall. There is no distortion until 90% of volume. If you nitpick, you can feel a small distortion at full volume. The build is strong and sturdy. The materials promise good durability. But the placement of buttons and its feel doesn’t felt premium. Even though Bluetooth is of older version, I didn’t find any connectivity issues. It automatically connects to my two devices simultaneously within 0.5 seconds of turning on. I really liked it. Bose connect app is useless unless you’re pairing two of them for a stereo experience. The app also didn’t feel comfortable to use. But you can use it to verify that your speaker is original. It even shows the date of manufacturing in the app. The battery life is also good. Has lasted me around 10 hrs in 60% volume. Overall I cannot say that it’s a value for money speaker, but it’s a product which make you forget value for money. It’s great to use inside your home and is super portable to carry for your trip. Overall I liked it very much.

If you want something thats compact, portable, without zero sacrifice of audio quality, look no further. Stop reading. Buy it. Why? Build quality 10/10, connectivity 10/10, performance 10/10 (Clear vocals, great details, punchy bass, gets LOUD indoors, makes music enjoyable, will make you fall in love with your playlist), I have a marshall and a JBL and the JBL is not as rich sounding and Marshall is a lot bigger, for the size, this delivers one or two leagues above. What else? Yes, colour 10/10 too in the blue. Bose smashed this outta the park. If you budget is 10, save more and get this, if your budget is 20, save more and get the Killburn. Simple. Enjoy!

Sound quality is good but not best. Equilizer functionality in app is not present.Sound can be real loud.

Bose, Bose hai baki sab bakwaas. At this price range and considering the fact that I already have Bose sound system in my new i20, there was no doubt in my mind to buy this bluetooth speaker. All I was waiting for was a price discount and I got it around Diwali. This speaker costed me around 7.8k with price discount and ABI card discount. I immediately bought one. I was eyeing for this one since 10 months. The mistake I made was I bought only 1, whereas I should have bought 2 at this price and could have either sold it or gifted to a friend.Sound is excellent, bass is superb 100 out of 100, clarity and treble are in full control, battery life is 100 out of 100. It says it has an output of 5 watts but it sound more like 20watts. And here is a tip to use it more effectively, find a closed space like a almirah rack or below your wooden table, the moment you keep this speaker covered from 4 sides (back, sides, top and bottom, leaving the front side open for sound to come out) thi speaker blows yours mind. My friends though I bought a new 40 watts speaker of sony or JBL....and it was funny to hear that.So guys buy this one without any doubts or you can wait for a price drop just like I did.Thanks

Mind Blown, i have Harman kardon, Marshall and JBL. Only Harman Kardon is better but sadly we do not get the portable ones in India.I would recommend Bose for peopple looking for portable speakers over any other being sold today in the market. The bass , mids & treble are all on point, best part you can pair two of these for stereo which no other brand is offering at this price point, That just chages the whole listening experience.

Mine, spoiled within 1 and half years.Normally after usage battery drained completely and then it never charged.Authorised service people claim it to be non repairable and moulded.And suggested to upgrade to new device giving 10% off. No trouble shooting..No service.Speaker is dead.Never expected this kinda treatment from BOSE.
