These are fantastic Tahitian beans when it comes to extracting the deliciousness you are looking for. Not as buttery as the Madagascar bean, not as spicy as a Mexican bean... but smooth and delicious just the same.

Vanilla has increased in price the last couple years. I started making my own Vanilla Extract for myself and Christmas gifts. I start a batch in the spring, shake it up once a week and all ready for holiday baking! These beans had nice smell, very good quality. I bought another Vanilla bean package on Etsy just before I saw this one on Amazon, these were better and cheaper.

I buy these vanilla beans every year for making homemade vanilla extract. Much less expensive than buying vanilla extract. I use a 50/50 mix of light and dark rum, rather than vodka, and adore the flavor of the final product after 2-6 months.

Bought these vanilla beans for my homemade vanilla. They are a little on the slim side but as soon as I used them they gave color right away. Nicely packaged and came with directions for the vanilla. Has a nice strong smell too. Would buy from again. 😊

Very aromatic beans. I'm using them for homemade vanilla extract. They were easy to slice to prepare the extract. I haven't opened the extract yet (it is still 'processing' for a couple more months), but I have no doubt that it will be wonderful! I would definitely recommend these vanilla beans.
