We mainly use this for refrigerated produce and it definitely extends the shelf life of food. It works well with baked goods too and can be used in the freezer. Instructions advise you shouldn’t use it for liquids. The suction device lasts for ages before needing to be charged again and it produces a strong vacuum seal. Great product. It is a bit pricey but is often available for a more affordable price.

I love these. So easy to use and keeps everything so fresh. Good value and high quality. Easy cleaned and lasted with no leaks or tears.

These are a high quality product. I really like that the vacuum pump stops when all the air has been extracted - unlike other systems where you have to count and hope for the best. Both the plastic and glass boxes are excellent quality, and seem to hold the vacuum perfectly - almost too perfectly because sometimes even after you have 'broken' the seal, they are tricky to open. This problem is solved by sliding a knife blade into the gap to gain a little leverage. My one reservation is with the bags. I have found that initially the air is extracted very well, but a few hours later, air has obviously got in and the vacuum seal is non-existent. None of these items are cheap and I would expect a vacuum bag at over £2 a piece to hold the vacuum. That said, it is possible to use the vacuum pump with less expensive vacuum bags very successfully.

I usually make a large focaccia so I can have some with dinner and keep some for sandwiches and snacks the following day. It’s normally a teeny bit stale the following day and a little tedious to eat after two days but the vacuum keeps it fresh for at least two days (hard to test longer period because it’s so delicious, sorry)

It is one of the best product you can buy for your kitchen. I have been using them for a month or so and they never lost the vacuum. The battery of the vacuum last forever. On the freshness of the food side of things, food remain very fresh especially things like salad which perish quickly. It is a must buy!

Wir sind schon im Besitz zweier Vakumierer und verschiedenster Behälter von Zwilling. Meine Mutter interessierte sich auch dafür und daher bekam sie dieses Set. Über die Qualität brauche ich nicht reden. Die ist wie immer bei Zwilling top. Ob nun die Glasbehälter oder die aus Plastik, beide Materialien sind hochwertig und dick, also behaupte ich mal auch langlebig. Die Beutel habe ich jetzt schon länger im Einsatz ohne das mir einer kaputt gegangen ist. Ich möchte nie wieder ohne. Wir füllen das Katzenfutter aus den großen Dosen um und vakumieren dies dann. Das Futter ist auch nach mehreren Tagen noch frisch. Sowohl die Dosen, Tüten und auch der Vakumierer sind einfach und intuitiv in der Handhabung. 👍 Unser Gefrierer platzt endlich nicht mehr aus den Nähten, da durch das Vakumieren mit den Beuteln einfach mehr Platz ist. Wir haben letztens sogar ein Brathähnchen vakumiert. Da merkt man erst wieviel Bums die Vakumierer haben. Das Hähnchen war danach platter. Banane eingefroren war ein Erlebnis. Sie sah wie frisch aufgeschnitten aus, nicht braun. Auch zum mealpreppen nur zu empfehlen. Ich kann diese oder jede andere Kombination an Frischhaltebehältnissen von Zwilling nur empfehlen. Mittels App hat man auch den perfekten Überblick über den Inhalt und den Tag des Einfrierens der einzelnen Beutel.
