Elden Ring Official Strategy Guide, Vol. 2: Shards of the Shattering (Books of Knowledge)

Most beautiful books I’ve seen, it’s essentially printed Elden ring wikis with everything you could need. But both were damaged which is quite sad really. Buyer be aware, the first book with ranni on the cover is about the world and exploration, item collection etc Book 2 with Marika on the front is about how to take on enemies. It’s been the more helpful of the two as it actually demonstrates the defences of each enemy and suggests tactics on fighting. For example it tells that the red wolfs blade attack does physical damage and suggests blocking with a shield, whilst the spellblades do magic damage and should be dodged. I thought this was great, I now know exactly what I should be doing to each enemy. These books are as such, not for everyone and perhaps this will put someone off but I suggest both for the collection but overall if you’ve played the game a handful of times, you already know everything in book 1, but book 2 is so detailed for combat I’m blown away. I guess you could just use your phone to access this information rather than spending around £80 for these books but I’m glad I have them. Hoping for another with dlc release🤓

This book is a printed wikipedia. A nicely produced wikipedia, but a wiki nonetheless. You are not really getting a true strategy guide, certainly not a lore book (the whole story section of the two books together is the last 10 pages of the first book) and not an art book (every picture is taken in-game except for the chapter titles). If you are looking for those, you will not find them here. What you do get here are detailed maps with locations and items, quest line explanations, list of every spell, object, and enemy in the game. But let's be frank here: you will never ever use it for that information since you will get it way faster on the internet, whether you left that melted mushroom in the area or not. Also, everything is quite literally taken from the game, so if you read the item description, then you have read everything. So if you are looking for something mentioned in the first few sentences or you think you want to regularly grab this book for reading, please don't buy it. If you are looking for something Elden Ring related that is good quality and you can put it out for display and very rarely browse through it out of nostalgia, then it is a book worth getting.

Future press are well know for doing awsome game guides this is a great guide full colour art with quality maps and loads of descriptions of spells , items and solutions and npc characters, although I would give Elden ring a go blind as it is all about discovering your own adventure, but if you get stuck or need to find an item that you have been wanting for ages, look it up,also get vol 1 and 3.to complete the whole game both are on Amazon, buy them before they go out of print as they will cost a fortune.

A hefty book of art, really good finish and quality from hardback cover down to font, artwork and even the pages look great.

2022年の11月に注文し、届いたのが翌年の8月でしたのですっかり注文していたことも忘れていたのですが、内容はその遅れを十分補えるほど充実した内容となっていましたので満足度は高いです。 内容は豊富な写真と膨大なデータに基づく攻略本で、全て英語ですので、なかなか英語が理解出来ないと思いますが、ボリュームは途轍もなく、編集された方につくづく頭が下がります。 装丁も丁寧にデザインされており、所有欲が満たされる感じで、ELDEN RINGのファンであれば、関連グッズの一つとして記念にひとつ手元に置いておくのも良いかなと感じます。
