This color is becoming difficult to find. I was so glad to find these reasonably priced! The skeins are clean, neat and exactly as expected. Caron Simply Soft is soft and on the thinner side of worsted weight. One issue I have with this yarn is it separates more easily than other acrylic yarns while crocheting, but you learn to work with that. The neon orange color is perfect to make hats used during hunting season.

I needed a good quality yarn to make a NY Mets blanket. It is the perfect color. I have worked with this brand before, and I know that it is a good quality yarn. I gave this 4 stars because the price is higher than the retail price.

i was completely blown away with the brightness of the color! supper soft popular brand name! great bulk deal. Keep in mind that all caron simply soft yarn will split from time to time in my experiance, espiecally if you allow it to age before use (not sure why this makes a difference)

This was a hard color to find locally and I knew I would find it on Amazon! I LOVE crocheting with Caron Simply Soft and no matter my hook size, RARELY does a strand get missed as with other brands. I love this color too. Neon Orange! My project is Neon Orange and Black and it truly pops.

Very soft, very bright and vibrant orange. Will definitely buy this brand again. The only downside is that they are a little smaller than I had expected, but were still big enough for what I needed.

Package of three came bundled together and all three had matching dye lot numbers & dates on them, which is important. YARN ITSELF: 3/5 to 4/5 STARS It is definitely a soft yarn, and I absolutely LOVE the color. I purchased the “Neon Orange” color, because my husband asked me to make him a hunting hat. So far I’ve had a very hard time finding any yarn that was even close to regulation Blaze Orange, but I think I’ve finally found it with this yarn! Also, all Caron simply soft yarn has this nice satin sheen to it, rather than the usually matte sheen of many yarns. As others have mentioned, however, it is prone to splitting. If you are a beginner crocheter/knitter, or get easily frustrated with splitting yarn, then this is not the yarn for you. They definitely need to improve how they spin this particular yarn. However, if you are more experienced, or are used to working with 100% cotton yarn like me (which is always prone to splitting, no matter the quality), then you probably won’t have any issues or might not even noticed the splitting. I have worked with Caron simply soft before this purchase and didn’t even notice the splitting before reading the reviews. That is because I am so used to it with cotton yarn. I did pay more attention on my next project however, and it does indeed split too easily for typical acrylic yarn, even the cheap stuff. TL;DR — this listing gets 5 stars for quick delivery & matching dye kit numbers. Yarn itself, I would personally give 4/5 stars, but dropped to 3/5 stars because it splits easily, which may frustrate some people, especially beginners. Average rating: 4/5 stars.
