Cars, 1:64 Scale Toy Cars, Buses and Trucks for Kids and Collectors, Set of 20, Styles May Vary

Bought for a little boy for Christmas but didn't get to give them to him so gave to my granddaughter

What a delight to essentially receive a mystery bx of quality Matchbox 1/64. Very pleasantly surprised by the selection and variety, tremendous value for money.

While i acknowledge it does say sets will vary out of 5 I ordered three were exactly the same and I was really bummed I didn’t get at least one construction set. I also wish they showed something other than just the construction set so you can see the other variety. Cars seem tough though and my nephew loves anything with wheels. I’ll save the rest as other gifts for other kids in time.

My grandson loves playing with his cars. These are well made, almost as heavy as the ones from my childhood! A good value, great colors, and they seem pretty indestructible.

Something for everyone is what I would describe this package. My pictures probably speak for themselves: Pic 1. What I received 2. 3 of the "heavy" vehicles from the package. 3 & 4. My collection of cars with some of what I got included in. Having read a few horror stories on the reviews here about how people got duplicates and sets they did not like, I think I've gotten lucky already. Though the temptation to order another set is there I don't think I will be doing so. There are modern cars and old cars, heavy industrial vehicles as well. That's why I said this set has something for everyone. My son's of nearly two years eyes lit up when he saw the set. I've taken out a few cars as well to add to my collection; I don't think he'd noticed a difference. Hahaha. What I really love about Matchbox cars - which I think are only one step in terms of detailing below Majorette is that the wheels roll extremely smoothly much better than any other brand out there and they are great for racing down our house corridor. Also, Matchbox uses real ACTUAL cars and the year and model of car is written below each car. Much better than Hot Wheels who's fictitious cars bear no resemblance to anything actually made on this Earth.

We love this set. It has classic cars, modern cars and some trucks. Some cars came with scratches right out of the box (window, see pictures). Due to bad assembly process at the factory. But in general, nice details and the price for what you get (look at the back of the car). The cars will be destroyed anyway within few years. In generall modern Matchbox cars have a very weak wheel shaft. So after the pressure to the floor of my 2y old the wheels stop turning well. We don't have this with cars from Siku. Also, the chrome from the wheels is very thin and fades after few weeks.
