Almost every single thing you need
I’ll start by saying that I love Baofeng products. Yes, they’re cheap, poorly interfaced, and somewhat slow on scanning, but every Baofeng radio I’ve used (three UV-5R’s and this set) have been loads of fun and hugely featured. This particular GMRS radio is so close to perfection that I rounded it up from an easy 4.75 stars to 5. This radio came with all sorts of extras: matching whips, stubs, and chargers were rounded out by a cool pair of in-ear monitors. Now, you can’t expect the quality of the extras to be outstanding, but they’re passable at worst and pretty good in some cases (the whip antennas specifically). The radio has a detailed menu which allows you to set up quite a few features, including CTCSS/DCS on both TX and RX as well as repeater support. The voice is a moderately accented English voice, which is actually kind of helpful if you don’t know how to pronounce “Baofeng” (the radio helpfully announces it on boot). Range is good. Power at full battery was maintaining a steady 7.8v, and when the included whip antenna is used, you can squeeze out some range. I live in a rural town of 5000, with hills, rivers, trees, buildings, etc. Far from the ideal. But, the radios perform well across most of my town. I use CTCSS so my kid doesn’t get much crosstalk if the channel is busy, but that really hasn’t been an issue. Get your GMRS license, then place the order for these radios. They are so much fun to play with.

An absolute bargain for two excellent and powerful GMRS radios.
Baofeng keeps putting out excellent radios and this model is one of them. I purchased these and they are very easy to program ctss/dcs codes. I tested them and on high power I was able to transmit to a friend 4 miles away in an urban area. The radio quality is excellent, and I love this shade of green. They are pre-programmed and you can turn them on and start talking. You can also talk on repeaters with these as well. I love the size, functionality and ergonomics of this radio as well. Yes they ship out two of these with alot accessories. Easy programming. Fun for the kids and the entire family. These are a great value for the money.

Great pair of radios at a great price
Having my GMRS license for almost a year now (WSHC402) I actually didn't realize how popular GMRS was becoming until just recently. The price of the license is only $35 now so it's totally worth it by the way. GMRS gives you the ability to use higher power than standard FRS radios, as well as repeaters if near by thus extending your range even more. I'm also a ham operator and feel this is a good gateway, so to speak, or at least a stepping stone, to see if radio is right for you. These radios come in at a very good price point! Everything you need is included in the box to get started, and you can (with your license) start communicating with your family immediately. We do have a local repeater, and after finding that the information online was backwards in regards to the CTCSS tones, I was able to reach the repeater using one of these hand helds and a small mag-mount antenna on the roof of my truck, from some number of miles away. Range of course will be dependent on terrain and obstacles in the way. In the city I live in, we are able to get clear radio to radio communication from about 1 KM in distance. I like that these units come with both a short rubber duck and a longer whip antenna. I have not had the opportunity to see how the 2 antennas compare, however I would suggest that the longer antenna should be better and used unless you need the short rubber duck instead. The units definitely have a rugged feel in the hand, and they are not tiny by any means but not too large either. Programming a repeater from the front panel, by using one of the pre-programmed repeater channels, is super easy as long as you have the correct information for the repeater you are using. Built-in NOAA scanning is a neat feature to be honest as on most of my ham radios I actually do program our local NOAA frequency in anyway. My only minor gripe would be audio quality; the built in speaker is OK and works well but doesn't sound "great". It's not bad, it works, and is clear and easy to hear. For the price, you can't beat these.

Good starter radios
My first GMRS radios. I got my license after the HAM radio club voted to include GMRS users as members. The radios programed easily with Chirp. I am able to receive the local HAM repeaters. The radio works as well as my other HAM Baofengs. USB charging is a definite plus. I set the display to show battery voltage on power up, frequency on channel a and channel name on b. These radios are GMRS only on transmit.

Pretty nice set!
So these are pretty nice radios. The Abbree 771 antenna's get great reception. I've compared it with a Signal Stick and seem to have very similar performance. Heck, I even bought another Abbree 771 for a different radio even. The ear pieces are typical cheap-o ear pieces. The sound is horrible, but they do work. Easy to use the functions. Easy to program with the Radioddity GM-30 software. (yes, Radioddity, not Chirp) They pull everything I need and all NOAA stations. Sat here the other night listening in on channel 21 chatter, crystal clear. So the only gripe I have is switching channels. You can't just punch away at the button and go a bunch of channels at once. You have to wait a half second or so when going up or down for the next channel to load. I don't have that issue when scanning, it goes relatively quickly. Just doing it manually isn't the instant gratification you might be used to. Bought these both in green. It's a nice olive drab color but has a sheen. I love the usb-c charging, but wish it was on the back of the pack like my GMRS-9R's are. You need to lay these down to charge with the cable which isn't as practical all the time with the 771 antenna attached. I'll probably 3D print a stand for that which will accomodate the cable. FM radio feature is pretty nice as well. Sometimes I just use it as an FM radio when I'm out working.

Bargain price; the radio performs well, but downrated for one of the worst radio manuals ever.
I had a GMRS walkie talkie pair from another company (rarely used) for years until the antenna broke off. When I researched a replacement, I discovered that I should have gotten an FCC license for my old one. The license doesn't require a test, but as of this writing, it costs $35 for 10 years. You can apply online in the US. Check with the rules in the country where you intend to operate the device for requirements and legality. The Baofeng GM-15PRO is a handy held-held transceiver. The speaker is loud. It also receives the NOAA and Environment Canada weather transmissions, but it is not a weather alert receiver. It also has an FM radio that for some reason the Amazon product description fails to mention. Transmission distance varies greatly based on terrain, with the best range over water. I wouldn't figure on much over 2 miles. It can use repeaters, but that is outside my expertise. I would suggest this as something to take camping. It's rugged, with a flexible antenna not likely to break off. It adds entertainment with an FM radio, and emergency information with NOAA / Environment Canada weather forecasts. You can chat with your family member sailing on the lake. NOTE: while this radio "scans" the weather channels, it is going to stop on the first one it finds and stay there, and it does not respond to NOAA weather alert signals -- it is not an "all hazards" radio. When the ad says that the radio receives weather alerts, this means that if the listener happens to have the radio in Weather mode and is listening to the radio when the alert is issued, they will hear it. The GM-15PRO does nothing special with the alert tone. Since the scanning mode doesn't actually scan (having stopped remained on the first station it finds), the user may not know whether it is "scanning" or not. Press the #Z button to switch modes. You have to get out of scanning mode before you can exit the weather band and go back to GMRS or switch to FM. For FM press the button on the side of the radio labeled "-" (the FM/SOS button), then make sure the radio says 76-108 and not 65-76 (only used in Eastern Europe and Russia). If it's wrong, press the button with the cloud icon on it to switch (this only has to be set once). FM reception is fairly good, finding 61 stations, compared with 80 for the best radios. An FM scan with the short antenna found 10 stations, two of which were blank channels. The FM scan was also fairly slow. The manual is awful. It is confusing, poorly organized, incomplete and badly translated. It's also 52 pages -- attesting to the complexity of the radio in its fullest capability. I review radios as a hobby, and this is one of the absolute worst manuals I have ever seen. The device is not very intuitive to operate and you may find yourself looking for a video somewhere to help you turn on the FM radio, or to exit the weather function. Hint: if you really get stuck, turn the radio off and back on. The radio comes with a nice range of accessories, including two antenna lengths and a hands-free earpiece/microphone. You cannot use standard 3.5mm stereo earbuds in the jack on this radio; they will not work. It has a USB-A to USB-C cable for charging. The longer antenna gives longer range, but the extra length can be inconvenient to carry or for storage.

BAOFENG has another great radio for a great price.
I bought these based on the BAOFENG name and they do not disappoint. Picking up a distant signal even in a wooded area using the included whip antennas. Programming them for four local repeaters was a breeze without a computer interface. If you're unfamiliar with GMRS radios I would suggest thoroughly reading the manual which is well laid out, especially the programming functions. For simple walkie-talkie function it's just turn it on and select your channel. I bought a second set for a family member and he loves them.
