This steam mop works but the only thing isIs when you spray down the chemical you only have just one chance to spray it otherwise it works great!

It is hard for any steam mop to live up to my expectations. I admit it. The old collab between Swifter and Bissel was the best thing to ever happen to floor cleaning. Sadly, they were taken off the market and the trigger broke :(So- I went with this one. This steamer is light and easy to use. Does a decent job on linoleum and tile kitchen and bathroom floors. The water tank needs refilled frequently and the manual tells you to beware of running it dry as it may ruin the unit. Also, use distilled water. I had a problem after 11 months and a half dozen uses. Stopped heating. After a week or so of emails and one phone call, the company gave me a complete refund. I would probably buy another of their products because of the customer service and their standing behind their product..

This PurSteam Steam Mop does exactly what it advertises - it does a great job of deep cleaning. If I could have given it 4.5 stars instead of 4 I would have and I did not give it 5 stars for 2 reasons: 1: The cord could be longer so I wouldn't have to unplug it from one wall socket in order to reach the other end of the room, and 2: It's a little heavy to us but that can also be considered a plus as it seems to be very well made. I vacuumed the ceramic tile in my screened porch before using the PurSteam Steam Mop and assumed that I would not see a lot of dirt on the mop. However, as you can see from my attached photo, this PurSteam Steam Mop picked up so much more dirt than my vacuum cleeaner and I am very pleased with how it works. I would definitely recommend the PurSteam Steam Mop to anyone looking for this type of cleaner.

Update: The company refunded me in full after I left this review. I appreciate the customer service. Still sad that I couldn't use this and ended up going with Shark, but maybe they'll update with replacement pads in the future. Otherwise, it was an acceptable product. 3 stars.I contacted the company multiple times. As others have stated, you cannot find replacement pads specific to this steamer. They are proprietary with two elastic pockets that fit over the rubber fins. You can use generic pads (as I ended up doing) but they don't work that well. Unit itself doesn't put out that much steam, so you have to move slow in order to apply steam to floor. Multiple attempts to contact the company and get help through Amazon (to return) got no response. My old Shark and Monster steamers beat this one. Disappointed at this mediocre $70+ steamer, wish I'd bought a different one.

I use this steam cleaner on my kitchen tile floor. I couldn't find any Steam cleaning solution so I just added distilled water where a cleaning solution is supposed to go in the front of the steamer. The steam cleaner worked as described. It certainly less messy than a mop or even a squeeze mop. I'm looking forward to finding steam cleaning solution because I think it will clean my floor even more then it did with plain distilled water. The mop head has texture and it's nice and soft to not harm your floor but it didn't get in the crevices between the tiles. I'm hoping when I find steam cleaner that will help to clean those crevices. Definitely keep your eye on the amount of water in the back of the steam cleaner as it only holds the amount that the plastic cup fills. I still had some left in the steamer when I I finished with the kitchen floor but if you have a huge floor or more than one room be mindful to add more water. I found putting the steam cleaner handle parts a little challenging but I finally figured it out. First line up all three pieces on the floor, meeting the two handle pieces and the main compartment. If you temporarily remove the colored piece on the handle you can then see where the handle will click in with the next part. Rotate the handles until you have them all Replace the colored piece on the handle after you have everything lined up properly. Then you can click the top of the handle to the bottom of the handle properly.

Attached to my review is my first use of the product. I recently had tenants at my property who I feel never clean the floors. If you were to walk barefoot on my laminate floors you would get this disgusting black residue on your feet. After one use in one room you can see it picked up a lot of filth that a lot of the other push mops do not remove. For the price it is extremely reasonable and does a very good job cleaning the floors. I did have issues in the beginning with the trigger mechanism to activate the floor cleaner. It was my own fault of course as I was not paying attention as I attached to the handle I had It twisted to one side. However, I was able to fix it by standing on the mop head gently pulling up and the handle was able to be removed. I fixed the positioning and the trigger mechanism works wonderfully now. I would truly give this a five-star review. The only downside that I have and it's just a personal preference is that I have to plug it in for every single room that I need to go to. However, it is exceptionally fast. It stays true to its word. It does heat and steam in about 30 to 45 seconds. I think the only issue would be the height. It's just not meant for a guy who's 6 ft tall. I still have to kind of hobble over. But otherwise I am very happy with the product
