Great long lasting shoe.
Love these shoes. This is probably the fourth time I've purchased them and they're just as good every time. I use them for casual wear until they start to wear out. They probably would last longer than that, but I don't take the best care of them. After that, they become my work shoes around the house, and I easily get another year out of them. The last pair I used like that lasted over two more years of getting soaked, full of dirt and paint, until the seams finally rotted. Then I promoted ( ?) my casual pair to my work shoes and will probably get another year or two. One other thing. They are very comfortable and the memory foam never wore out. I would say that's great mileage.

Skechers Men’s Relaxed Fit: Harper - Forde Loafer: Style and Comfort in One Package
Skechers has a reputation for producing footwear that combines style, comfort, and durability. The Harper - Forde Loafer is no exception. Right from the moment I put them on, I felt an immediate sense of comfort, thanks to the Relaxed Fit design. They have quickly become my go-to choice for both casual outings and workdays. The Ideal Blend of Aesthetics and Functionality What sets the Harper - Forde Loafer apart is the meticulous attention to detail in the design. The loafers exude an air of sophistication while maintaining a casual vibe. They are crafted from smooth, full-grained leather that not only looks good but also feels incredibly soft against the skin. The stitching accents add an extra layer of visual appeal to the overall look. Cushioned Comfort: The Strength and Weakness One of the standout features has to be the memory foam cushioned insole. The insole provides a level of comfort that makes wearing these loafers for extended periods an absolute breeze. However, this cushioning, while excellent for comfort, might not provide the best support for those who have to stand for long hours or walk significant distances. I felt some foot fatigue after a full day, something I have not experienced with more orthopedically-designed footwear. Versatility in Wearing Occasions: A Bonus These loafers offer a great deal of versatility. I’ve worn them to casual gatherings, to the office, and even on a date. Each time, they’ve been up to the task, which makes them an excellent investment for anyone looking to get the most mileage out of a single pair of shoes. However, the finish can be a bit sensitive to water spots or stains, so be cautious in inclement weather. Size and Fit: Mostly Good but Proceed with Caution Sizing is usually a crucial factor when it comes to footwear, and in this case, the Harper - Forde Loafer mostly delivers. However, the Relaxed Fit design, while comfortable, can feel a bit loose if you’re between sizes. You may want to consider this when making your choice. In Summary: A Solid Choice with Minor Caveats All in all, the Skechers Men’s Relaxed Fit: Harper - Forde Loafer lives up to its promise of delivering a blend of style and comfort. Despite the minor setbacks like the somewhat lacking arch support and sensitivity to water spots, these loafers deliver where it counts the most. They are versatile, stylish, and above all, incredibly comfortable for most activities. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. If you’re on the fence about these loafers, my recommendation is to give them a try. They do a great job of balancing style and comfort, and you may very well find them to be the perfect addition to your footwear collection.

These Slip-Ons Became My Everyday Shoes - Here’s the Real Story After 6 Months
I’ve had the Skechers Men's Relaxed Fit: Harper - Forde Slip-On Loafers for about 6 months now, living in Florida where it’s hot, humid, and I’m on my feet a lot. I bought them because I wanted something I could wear to work, run errands, and still look put-together without dealing with laces. Here’s my honest take after actually living in them, based on what I’ve seen other buyers say too. First thing I noticed: they’re stupid comfortable right out of the box. No break-in period. The “Relaxed Fit” part is real - there’s room in the toe box, so my feet don’t feel squeezed by the end of the day. I’ve got slightly wide feet and these didn’t pinch. A lot of other buyers mention the same thing - they run roomy and work well if you have wider feet or even use orthotic inserts. The insole has that memory-foam feel Skechers is known for. Feels like walking on clouds for the first few hours. For me in Florida, the lightweight build is a big deal. My feet don’t overheat, and they’re light enough that I don’t notice them. Where I actually wear them: I slip these on for work when I need business-casual but don’t want dress shoes killing my feet. They pass for “nice enough” with khakis or dark jeans, and nobody’s called me out. I’ve also worn them to church, out to dinner, and even long walks at the outdoor mall. They have decent traction - I’ve walked on wet tile and parking lots after a Florida storm and didn’t slide. Super easy to kick on when I’m taking the dog out or grabbing groceries. That slip-on design is clutch if you’re disabled or just hate bending over. Pros I’ve noticed, and other people keep mentioning: Comfort: This is the #1 thing people rave about.. My feet don’t hurt after a full day like they do in other loafers. Slip-on ease: customers said they’re easy on/off with zero negatives. I can confirm. Look: They hit that middle ground between sneaker and dress shoe. Not too formal, not too sloppy. I’ve gotten “nice shoes” comments twice. Value for money: Most buyers think the price is fair for what you get. I paid what I’d expect for a decent pair of everyday shoes, and they’ve held up better than I thought. One guy said his last him a couple years. Lightweight: Makes a difference in Florida heat. The not-so-great stuff: They’re not perfect. The Relaxed Fit that makes them comfy also means they can feel a little loose in the heel, especially if you’re between sizes. I went true to size - I’m a 10 and got a 10 - and they’re fine, but if I had half sizes I might have gone 9.5. A few people mention slipping issues. The sole is a little harder than I expected, so they can be loud on tile floors. Durability is mixed. Most people say they’re well-made and last.. Mine still look good, but I baby them. Don’t expect work-boot toughness. Also, the insole is permanent, so you can’t pull it out to wash if you don’t wear socks. In Florida humidity, that matters. Value for money? For me, yes.. They’re not “throw-away quality” and better than expected for the price. I’ve had $40 loafers fall apart in 3 months. These cost more but feel like they’ll go a year or two with normal wear. If you’re hard on shoes or need to kneel/climb a lot, maybe look elsewhere. Who these are actually for: If you want a daily driver that’s dressy enough for the office, comfy enough for all-day walking, and easy to slip on when you’re rushing out the door - these work. Great for guys with wider feet, people who stand a lot, or anyone who hates tying laces. Not for heavy-duty work or if you need a locked-in athletic fit. Overall, I’m keeping them. They do exactly what I needed: look decent, feel great, and make life easier. Not the most durable shoe ever made, but for comfort and versatility at the price, they’re solid.
