I've never used this before, so time will tell. I saw an episode where farmers in Utah are using this for raising their crops and how it captures the carbon in the earth instead of releasing it into the air. I like the idea that it is a carbon sink and very beneficial to the plants and trees I've planted.

I like using basalt and glacial rock dust in my worm bins. Since these Rick products take so long to actually break down and become available to the plants, I like adding these as grit in my worm chow. By the time a tray is ready to be harvested in 6 months time, the basalt has been ground down by the worms and bacteria making it much more available than just mixing it in some peat or coco. A bit of a long process but geology isn't measured in decades or centuries. Think long. Grow big!

Who am I to say? But I'm sure it helps my small veggie garden.
