I used the blade to cut ruby. It is a bit wide and wastes material but cuts easily, stays sharp. The center hole is a one inch diameter, not the smaller size quoted! Over all, the blade is well made with diamonds well mounted and showed no wear after 10 cuts and inch deep. After mounting in the saw, the blade ran true. I use water as a cutting coolant. It works better if you can feed really hard material slowly and evenly, with the material ether clamped or glued down to avoid breaking the last little bit, sort of a sled with a screw feed.

We bought this to make a small 1/4" cut along a granite countertop to put in a stove. It worked perfectly and cut the granite nicely and quickly.

Don't let the price of this awesome blade fool you. I had a job with a little over 1200 square foot of tile and made many many cuts with this. From porcelain to ceramic and even 5/8 inch thick porcelain. Even after roughly a hundred cuts and still cuts nice and smooth. The last part of the job I had to cut some white subway tile, had a few tiny chips but we're easily taken care of with the tile Stone and that's after cutting on the porcelain tile. Would highly recommend this and since this purchase I have purchased two more of them, but as well as thid cuts I'm not sure when I will use them. My last blade that I had was an $85 wet saw blade that didn't even come close to cutting the way this did.

In rock landscaping, I use this to grind down rocks ranging from soft flagstone (soft sedimentary rock) to granite (igneous, much harder). I also use it to score the underside of flagstone to get my hammer and chisel started -- helps break the rock exactly how you want it. Also works great for cutting off nails and any other general purpose.

I bought this blade to cut rocks on a wet tile saw and of all my previous blades, this one is quick! It's also pretty aggressive while cutting, leaving no room for error if you have to turn the rock. When installing, I realized the radial center of the blade was thicker than other blades, and made it nearly incompatible with my saw. It's blue paint wore away quickly on the rock as I was cutting, but otherwise the blade is fine. It does as described but doesn't leave the cleanest surface. Overall, if you are trying to get through a rock with little regard for a clean cut, this one's for you!

Bonne coupe sans éclat énorme. Ligne droite bon boulot. Quelques petits éclaté mais sérieusement fait aussi bien qu'une marque bcp plus cher. A voir si tenu dans le temps.
