Hydracoach-Intelligent Water Bottle (Burnt Orange)

First, the website they say to use to get instructions takes you to a bogus website. I literally had to type in hydrasmart water bottle manual to get instructions. The instructions are very hard to follow as the buttons are small and screen is hard to read so you don’t know if you have pressed the right thing. It says it will calculate how much water you need but I couldn’t get it to work.The reset button doesn’t work so you have to keep removing the battery to start over. Don’t waste your money.

I bought two of these (one for me, and one for my spouse) as a way to motivate us to drink more water during the day at work. If you read the other reviews you'll see a lot of people complaining about battery life. My two were no different, with the original batteries giving up within a few months of purchase. However, the new replacement batteries have been in the bottles for a few years, and are still going strong.There are few reason to *need* a water bottle like this. In reality, a person can keep track of their water intake pretty easy by counting how many times you fill the bottle. But I've found it kind of helpful to have the indicator reminding me of how much I've consumed, and what my average volume per hour has been for the day. I certainly drink more water in the past several years than I did before buying this.I'm an engineer, and that means I'm already kind of a nerd. But I often get people asking about the water bottle. Things like "does that tell you the temperature of the water?" When I tell them that it measures the water consumed, they're always amazed....both at the technology in this water bottle, and in my geekiness for having purchased it.The only downside I have is that the little metering device makes some noise when you drink. It's not all that loud, but if you were in a quiet meeting room you would probably annoy those sitting next to you.My wife still uses hers, but not to measure/record any consumption. It works as a fine (though expensive) water bottle even if you aren't using the electronic features.

This is my 8th Hydracoach bottle. This particular one is the most accurate but it's very hard to turn the top when putting it on

I love the idea of having something that keeps track of your water intake. I just found it difficult to reset after 24 hours. It was pretty frustrating and I would be open to trying it again, provided I could receive help from someone in customer service.

Came across this neat find and so far I’m loving it!!! I absolutely love water, but with my NCS and POTS I do struggle from time to time with brain fog and trying to remember how much I’ve drank as it’s very important to stay hydrated with both disorders. Well….this is dummy proof 🤣😂. It literally tracks how much I’ve drank without me needing to remember to hit a button!! Highly recommended so far!!! Especially if you are forgetful like me!!😊 So many features and seems pretty accurate too!!😎

The item came defective. The top piece that you suck on didn't have a hole cut into it so nothing came out. I asked the person who gifted it to me for the receipt. It's been just sitting on my counter. Then I noticed this black spot. Disgusting! I finally got the receipt today, the return window closed yesterday. Utter garbage!

I bought this for school because I never know if I'm staying hydrated enough since my schedule fluctuates. This product is excellent. It tells me how much to drink and how much I have had to drink.My only complaint is that the straw is difficult to clean.
