Q: How is the red color in person?

Not sure what color the red is in person because I bought the white and the teal hat... and they're exactly the same color as the picture, so I'm thinking the red is the same color as the picture..

Q: Is the hat a soft brushed cotton?

The short answer, almost. They attempted to make it soft, check. A true brushed cotton> Not quite there to check that box. So what is it? It is cotton, soft, relatively thick, and a perfect cap to wear outside for work. I run my caps through the wash now and again. A thicker material lasts longer. I live in a climate where winter is mild and we have most of the year blazingly hot. Sweating will ruin caps quickly. These last a bit longer than most. Most caps break down in the washing machine. I get these for the price point and function, not fashion.

Q: Is this made in China?

They are mainly made in Myanmar, with few from China. They are made by the same company. Depending on the manufacturer's production speed, sometimes they pass to China factory. Same quality.
