IT REALLY WORKS!!!!!
I have been having my camper for 2 years, when I purchased camper the remote did not work, so we would use the "emerg cool" button. which only stayed on for so long. So I had to put a fan in my camper to try and keep us cool because we did not know what the temp was set on. (when the emerg cool button was on, the a/c blew very cold, so I knew the a/c worked really well).. Well I bought camper to shop to purchase a new a/c unit and when they told me it would cost about $1400.00 for a/c, inside panel and thermostat, I started looking for an a/c unit on amazon and something told me to search carrier remotes and to my surprise, I found this compatible remote.. Well it just came in and when I put the batteries in and I pressed the "On Button" it was like music to my ears when that A/C kicked on (DID NOT HAVE TO PROGRAM IT) ... I know this was a long review but I had to tell my story... THIS REMOTE DOES WORK!!!! oh and by the way it actually told me what my temp was set on from the previous owners and it was set on 78.. OMG that's why we were so HOT... LOL.... BUT IT WORKING LIKE A CHAMPION.. THIS WAS THE BEST $52.00 I HAVE EVER SPENT!!!!!!!!

Expensive but worth it
I had this at 5 stars and took one away due to the astronomical price! Other then that it worked perfect for my 2005 travel trailer ac unit. I definitely had to have it to run my carrier.

It worked with out programing. I think its kind if expensive but if you don’t have the remote the furnace wont work. Got us out of a pickle. Works with the carrier airv Rv ac/ furnace.

Great Carrier RV Air Conditioner Remote Control replacement.
Excellent replacement for the Carrier RV AC remote control. A few years ago it was impossible to find a replacement except on line from people selling used ones for ridiculous prices, $200 to 300. This is a great replacement at a reasonable price. Works as promised.

Works! 2009 Carrier A/C unit Fixed!
After testing all of the wiring and reviewing many possible replacements I purchased this and it works perfectly. My old unit had to be held close to the ceiling buttons to work rarely, now I can control the A/C from anywhere in the coach. Great deal!No need to replace the 'control board"!!!!
