Great Switch
It's a switch and it does its job. That isn't enough for a switch hitting this price point. This has a 10G port and 5x 2.5G ports. And, just as importantly, it comes with a switching capacity that can actually accommodate those numbers at full capacity. The front lightbar isn't configurable. It's white when turbo mode is off and rainbow colored when it's on. Speaking of Turbo Mode, what this does is turn on "Priority of Service." If you are running with this setting ON, then Ports #1 and #6 are set as Priority #2 while Port #2 is Priority #2 and the remaining ports are priority 3. Like a poor-mans managed switch. That is important for you when plugging in your cables if you intend to enable turbo mode: Make sure you have the right cables plugged into the right ports. Also, the top LED colors are speed indicators. If you plug into the 10G port and have a white indicator, don't freak out. It's white for 1G, blue for 2.5G and ... bright white for 10G. I spent like an hour testing the various components on my drop to find what was limiting my speed before I found out that "Bright White" indicates 10G. Couldn't they have chosen another color? I digress... For what you get, this is many - many - times better than your granddaddy's desktop switch. It's just icing on the cake that the ports are rear-facing and doesn't look like a metal brick sitting around.

Combining these internet accelerator equipments with cables for the better performance!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible Speed Boost – Fixed My Internet Issues! I purchased three RJ45 Cat8 cables to use with my 2.5G coaxial adapters, and the results have been game-changing! My internet speed skyrocketed—boosting performance by 80% compared to just using Cat8 cables alone. Before installing the Cat8 cables, I was unknowingly using a mislabeled Cat5e cable that I had mistakenly bought from Walmart in a Cat7 package. No wonder my internet was so slow, unstable, and kept randomly disconnecting every 4 hours! I originally thought my ISP was throttling my internet, but it turns out the wrong cable was the culprit all along. Now, with the correct Cat8 cables, my D-Link QoS 6-Port Multi-Gigabit Unmanaged Switch (with built-in turbo mode) delivers super-fast and stable internet. The 2.5G coaxial adapters further boost both speed and connection quality, making a huge difference in my setup. I’m using a Netgear Nighthawk M6 Pro (Unlocked, AT&T 4G LTE service), and while it’s not 5G, I’m extremely satisfied with the massive speed improvements. I also tested my D-Link DI-102 Internet/VoIP Accelerator Adapter, and together with the Multi-Gigabit switch's turbo mode, my network performs better than ever! Even though I couldn’t invest in the most powerful 5G router or modem/router combo, this setup has completely transformed my internet experience without breaking the bank. If you’re struggling with slow speeds or frequent disconnections, check your cables! I highly recommend these Cat8 cables and 2.5G coaxial adapters. They made a night-and-day difference in my internet speed. Super happy with this purchase!

Plug and play, and works very well. Quality built
This is not your typical plastic case, or thin sheet metal switch. This baby is thick formed metal. After 4 weeks of it doing its job, has not got hot even once. I have it maxed out on a 2gb fiber and am having zero issues. Couple of power outages in my area during this time and it always comes right back up with no issues. The RGB is button select on the device so no software to change it. You get 3 modes, off, white and color coded by your link speed. and it works great.

Great Switch
Five 2.5gig Ports + 10 gig port. Works flawlessly. Increased the speed of my network considerably.

Pretty. Functional. Would prefer a less awkward shape.
Nice looking. Works fine. Only complaint is the pretty housing has an odd shape making it hard to stack together with other equipment so a bit awkward in my setup as a result.

Plug incompatible

Stopped working
Everything worked great. Bought it for my RV. I have a relative staying in it currently and just ran an Ethernet cable out to the switch. Was an easy way to get it out there. Anyway I noticed my internet kept going out and decided after making my own Ethernet cable connectors that maybe I was the issue. But alas, after hours wasted I realized the switch just won’t receive any data. I’m not an expert on the working of the internet but just running the Ethernet straight to a device works fine. Not sure if these are under warranty as I can’t find that information or the company contact information. So decided to write a review.

Does the job and looks nice
A very expensive unmanaged switch that only appeals to those looking for an RGB setup. The lighting is just a white LED behind a plastic color sheet (fake rgb), considering how cheap rgb LEDs are, it's surprising why D-Link didn't just add the real thing, the high price of the switch certainly justifies adding real lighting. The overall design is nice, with cables in the back, and status lights up front, and it's absolutely silent. I couldn't find any type of built-in web page for configuration by scanning the entire built-in network range, so it seems to be a plug-and-forget device. The $30 switch the D-link replaces had a basic config page, so this was also a bit surprising for the lack of one. Rating 3 out of 5 stars, due to price, using fake RGB and no customization page for basic configuration

It does the job
I have 2.5gbit network cards installed so wanted to make use of it. File transfers from my pc to my NAS which both connected to this device I am getting 270MB/s transfer speed and stable.

Powerful switch faster file transfers but needs extra 10Gb port
In 2023 these switches should be standard equipment now, most motherboards come with 2.5Gb ports for Ethernet today. Routers are harder to find with both WAN and LAN at 2.5Gb but the Asus GT-AX6000 is what I have. We have been stuck with 1Gb forever for the home market LAN, I feel the cost for this upgrade is overpriced somewhat for an unmanaged switch but the quality is there (its metal) and your really paying for the design and the 10Gb port. I have the turbo button enabled on mine to prioritize port 1 and 6 traffic as port 1 goes to main PC and port 6 is the 10Gb that goes to the Router. I have a WAN port that does 2.5 as well on the router plus one 2.5 LAN port so its all come together across the network with this switch. Sure you wont see massive increases in internet browsing speed other than stats and anyone who buys it just for that is silly but I got it because I have an older NAS that has bonded ports for 2Gb file sharing, it makes a huge difference in speed. Everything that can be wired through Ethernet is plugged into my switch and router because I hate extra latency that comes with Wi-Fi, no matter how good people say wireless is getting its never better than Ethernet. The 10Gb port is nice but it should have more than one for the future.

Best looking 2.5G switch
This is the best 2.5G switch which you can buy. I've been using it now for over six months and it has really taken my home network to the next level. Highly recommend.
