I use a case with a built-in backup battery for my iPhone 14 Pro which is 19 mm thick. Most holders cannot accommodate a cell this thick. This holder has a critical dimension which is the width of the case, not the depth. It is simple to use, and it stays in place. My vehicle dash is weird because it slopes down slightly until it hits a crease, then it rises up slightly. This case holder works just fine. If I place it slightly facing me, over some miles the bumps in the road will cause it to straighten up so it faces directly toward the back of the vehicle. That actually works just fine since there is no glare that way. I love this thing. My wife will be ordering one shortly.

Holder is heavy and sturdy. Gps fits if I take the visor off whi had on it to cut the glare. Gps doesn't stand straight; it leans back slightly. However, it does not move around on the dash. And that's without using the tape on the bottom. Overall a good deal.

Very nice stays on top of my dashboard

I've used it one day. It moves around more than a kite in a hurricane. The adhesive on the bottom does not stick to anything. It would have stuck to the dash more if I had just licked the bottom of it. I ordered some adhesive velcro hook and loop dots. Maybe tomorrow will be better. It holds my phone great though even when it bounced off the dashboard it didn't let go. Day 2 went much better. I ordered the velcro hook and loop dots and used 10 on the bottom and the dash. Now it doesn't move. So you can do that, or weld it, bolt it down, or pour concrete on your dash and sink it, and the product works masterfully. Highly recommend.

In my car, there was literally no other way to mount my new big GPS unit. Oh, I could go to a car stereo shop and they probably could design something, but it would require the cost and time hassle of installation. This is good enough. Very heavy, and very strong jaws.

My car is 19 yrs old so the navigation system is awkward to use. I use this to hold my Garmin in place, and it’s the best one I’ve found. The weighted base has a small strip of light adhesive on the bottom. It didn’t feel very sticky, but combined with the weight of the base itself, it stays in place. For my needs it’s absolutely perfect.

I thought it may be too long to fit on my Ford Escape dash, but it worked out just fine. The 90 degree power cable to my GPS also fit fine. The only minor complaint is that I have to mount my Magellan GPS off center to access the on/off switch on top. I just turn it on then mount it, then turn it off when removing.My old GPS mount had a suction cup that was weak and a separate, unreliable mounting pad.
