CONCORD CANDY & CARAMEL APPLE KITS (Makes 20 candy apples)

This kit is so fun and pretty easy! I'm not particularly crafty or any kind of a baking/confection wizard. Just followed the directions, and they turned out great. I recommend getting small granny smith apples. You will need a candy thermometer to get the mixes to the correct temperature.

Candy apple fix was perfect but the Carmel apple mix very difficult to thicken. Definitely get a candy thermometer it will make process easier..

Worst experience ever! I've made hundreds of apples in my lifetime and never had an issue till this mess. Followed directions exact and it was so thin it just rolled right off. Waste of money, not to mention the loss of the apples and candy decorations. I need refunded for this junk.

Granted, this might be due to user inexperience, but even at the recommended temperature, the candy coating was very thin and most of it pooled at the base of the apples. Still tasty.

Stove is broken but plan to make with monk fruit sweetener as i am diabetiv
