Highly recommend, very knowledgeable, good index.
This book is excellent, well laid out, good index. Particularly liked the detailed set~up information for different scenarios. It may seem pricey to some, but I think it is worth every penny. Although not new to photography or Canon cameras, this book is teaching me a lot and is ideal as a quick reference for setting up the camera and finding menu items, plus why and how to use them. For a beginner it would be invaluable.

Not a fan of online guides? Get this, a great guide for beginners
I bought a Canon EOS R10 which is a lovely camera but the paper guide that comes with it is very much a set up and shoot with little detail and the main manual is online, I am not a fan of these so was looking for a book to help guide me, as pretty much a beginner, through the process of getting up and running and understanding the jargon.Pros: The book has a great intro and the first 2 chapters give you the 101 guide to get you up and running and then the later chapters take you through all the details. Good index and contents means you can find pretty much everything you need easily.Cons: There is still a bit of jargon that I did not know but Google solved that and have found one index item that is not where it said it was but I found it easily enough and neither issue affects the 5 stars.I would say if you got the R10 get the book.

Very good guide
This is an excellent guide to the Canon EOS R10 camera. It describes its operation in more detail - and in easier to understand language - than the PDF manual that comes with the camera. I've learnt a lot that I would not have gained from browsing the manual.

Expensive by comparison but worth it
I wanted one of the book for dummies but they don’t make them for the Canon R10 yet so I looked at alternatives. I saw books for around £10 but they look more like bullet points than instruction guides whereas this is a proper easy to follow guide with photos.

If you are new to the mirrorless canon R10 camera - get this book!
I’m dyslexic and I went from a regular DSLR to a mirrorless canon R10 camera and felt totally lost! This book really helped me to understand my camera better because there are so many differences between the DSLR and the mirrorless- at least for me.This book will help you understand that camera so much better if you’re struggling with all the different things that it has available. And there are many things in there this book - it is like an encyclopedia- the vast amount of knowledge gained from this book…Easy to read and definitely necessary for anybody starting out with the R10 canon camera. I highly recommend this book. It’s excellent.!

Everything you thought and didn’t occur to think you’d need to know
The section on synchronised flash models and operation is enough to justify the cost of the book.I have only dipped into his book but its coverage and explainations so far is excellent.
