Excellent for adding my Garmin 1040 to a second bicycle
I purchased a Gravel Bike and wanted to be able to use my Garmin 1040 on both bicycles. These worked great and I go back and forth all the time!

Secure clip
I absolutely love this design. It has a lever which secures my radar without the fear of disengaging, also it’s design allows for a small zip tie for extra security if desired. I have two units and plan to get another for all my bikes so I can switch with ease

Does NOT fit Garmin RTL 515
This unit does NOT fit the Garmin RTL515, only the RCT715. Description does list RCT715 but I had no idea that Garmin had two different mount sizes and I don't know why they would do that. This is not the standard Garmin twist mount used for head units and the RTL 515, it is smaller in diameter and apparently only works with the RCT 715. Pity, because otherwise it looks like one of the best mounts available. I have a D-shaped seat post and although I have a mount that works "ok" it is not as secure as I would like.
