WHOA!
WHOA! There have been some mighty villains in V. C. Andrews stories but I think Kiera took the cake! The story was so well-crafted that I almost (but not quite!) believed that Kiera was coming around when she started being nice to Sasha. But I kind of expected her to rear her jealous, scheming head and she did!Sasha was trapped in Alena's shadow and really needed a friend, even if that friend (Kiera) was the one who caused her mother's death. After living on the street for a year with her now-dead mother, Sasha was in desperate need of an ally. But all she found in the end was a hateful, spiteful enemy who mistreated her, lied about her, caused her drugging and rape, and almost had her parents convinced that it was all Sasha's fault. But like Sasha, I did manage to find some sympathy for Kiera after her nearly fatal drug overdose. But I can't help but wonder... is she scheming again? What will she do to Sasha in the next novel, CLOUDBURST?I found it funny that Jordan March has the same name as an earlier VCA heroine. I want to believe that it is the same Jordan March but it's not. However, I will keep that idea in my head. Who knows what may have become of the first Jordan March? But in reality... many, many people share the same name. It's ironic. I also entertain the idea that in the next book, CLOUDBURST, Mr. March will turn out to be Sasha's real father. See all the possibilities there may be in the sequel?I wish the publishers were not so intent on limiting VCA story-line to two books. Oh, how I'd love to read a prequel to learn how Kiera treated her dead sister, Alena! Any why Sasha's real father disappeared? Again... so many possibilities! I can't wait for CLOUDBURST. This was a novel with a happy ending, at least, and a truly lovable character in Sasha and a true despicable character in Kiera! Keep 'em coming!

Family Storms
I loved Family Storms and am eagerly awaiting the next book. I hope it comes early. It is due out in Nov. but hoping it comes before then. Family Storms was a fast easy reading book. Never got bored reading it like some books tend to do. I have loved VC Andrews ever since Flowers in the Attic. As soon as I finish one of her books I have to get another one.

Great story , but new not used.
Great story. I’m a huge fan of VC Andrews her original work and her ghost writer work. I’ve read every single book she’s published, somehow missed this entire series. The study was good , I gave 3 stars due to the condition I received the book In. It was a used copy, but it said it was in good condition. I don’t think a used bookstore would have taking this copy. The edges were very frayed and bent , and the spine was very loose.
