I actually bought this for my daughter in Utah. I am sure if you could find an electric socket nearby you could plug it in and use it just about anywhere!

Will this work on a large aluminum pressure cooker?

I just received my item and it would not get my 23 qt Presto pressure cooker up to pressure.

Looking for something to hold a heavy pot. mainly for making gumbo roux. any tips?

We use it for big stock pots and have used a canner on it. However, the burners are a bit smaller than my big stock pots or canned. It just takes a little longer to heat up with the smaller burner.
