Extremely well made.
I ordered this to replace a leaking faucet made by the same manufacturer under an older company name. This faucet appears to be of higher quality than the original which lasted 23 years in Alaskan weather. I’ll be replacing my other faucets with the same type as they wear out. I’m very pleased with this purchase. Shipping took a little while but it was worth the wait.

STURDY, ALL METAL. Buy once cry once and don't look back.
Everything is super sturdy and ALL METAL including the green turn handle. This was to replace my 4yr old prier w plastic turn handle. Read product description specifically but if memory serves me, the 12in fits thru my 12in hollow block foundation with ~3/4 of thread to spare on the inside of the house. JUST enough to thread on my interior fitting (with pipe dope AND pipe tape to ensure a tight waterproof seal)

Well built. Easy to install. Couldn't be happier with it!
Not much more to say. I was replacing an older model Prier rostproof. It was >30 years old. I wasn't able to find the correct model stem to rebuild the existing spigot. I bought a sharkbite adapter from Lowe's. I replaced it myself with no issues.

Leaks
Not sure if there was a bad batch of parts or the seals had dry rotted from sitting, but after I purchased and installed this faucet it leaked. Not a lot, just enough to be annoying. Some other reviewers noted this as well. I almost ordered the rebuild kit since the darn thing is installed, but the leak is just an annoyance and disappointment at Prier's quality control.

Excellent product, very well constructed. One feature I was looking for was hydrant that was repairable if needed and parts availability. Company has a long track record of supplying parts, so I went ahead and purchased. Very happy with Prier C-144D12.

So much better than the cheap spigots you get at the hardware store
Love how this spigot mounts very solidly, because the base mounting flange is large and the mounting holes are far apart providing a large, stable mounting footprint. Has a very solid, high quality feel. Everything is just a little bigger, providing a satisfying, solid feel unlike the cheap, typical hardware store spigots. Valve opens fully with one turn.

Looks great but have not installed it yet but looks like it should work better than the old tap.
