I gave this a one star as it is made extremely well. However! It just didn't work properly if at all. I live in an area that has great wifi and GPS but it turned out to be Dimwitted, inaccurate, rogue messages and most of the time I had no idea what was going on with it. Customer service is via 3 day turn around via e-mail. This is just not acceptable. To see if it works you need to buy a subscription. More outlay. Then when you finally decide to return the item you have to pay via a non refundable tracked system costing 5% of the product. Are you serious!!! Unfortunately YES..... The item also protrudes about 8 mm's out from your handle bars. Could easily be damaged. Expensive mistake????YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

So far so good. Easy set up. Got a pal to "steal" my e bike, took it 20 miles. it worked a treat.

Easy to install and set up. I got some open ended handlebar grips which work perfectly. It works really, really well at tracking the bike and it's easy to switch between different modes (passive when cycling, up to tracking when you need almost real time updates). The alerts detecting movement are timely and accurate. Battery life is amazing! I've had mine 3 weeks and it's still at 50%. Hope I never have to use it to find my bike, but I'm confident I'd be able to locate it. I know it's not a feature of Bikefinder, but I do think an audible alarm is a deterrent where I live, so I'll probably look for something separate to add to my bike for that.

This tracker is ridiculously easy to install, and the support guys are there to help out if you need them. I opted for the added insurance and that really does give total piece of mind, especially if you live in a big city.

If you have an expensive bike, then this will likely be an invaluable asset to protect your investment. It is a well made device, small, easily concealed, and designed in Norway.At this point I would like to make it clear however that you will have to pay a monthly subscription for the service, something that, at the time of writing, isn't made clear in the main description on the Amazon listing.The subscription costs on their website are currently either £4.99 each month, £47.88 for 1 year, and £71.76 for 2 years. The prices if you want insurance included are significantly more and, as you would expect, are dependant upon the value of your bike.I think that given the cost of the product itself (£169), it would have been a good idea to include a minimum of 12 months tracking free with the cost of the product so that you could use it straight away without it costing more.My bike is pretty old and worth no more than £100, so I have not subscribed, and the review is based on the quality, easy of fitting, and assumption that the tracking will work as expected.As I have already mentioned, the quality is very good, fitting is as simple as removing the end cap on your handlebars and inserting the tracker, there is a special tool for tightening it into place, and the charging port is hidden under the end cap along with the screws. The USB cable too is nicely made, and braided.I think that for an expensive bike, this is definitely a worthwhile investment, but £169 seems a little expensive for the tracker, especially when it doesn't include any subscription period in the cost.

Great product, easy to install even for me! I can see where my bike is, and if it’s in a location with poor signal it communicates with my phone for at least 500meters. I put it in security mode when I leave it downtown and it notifies me when somebody tries to move it. A lot more relaxed when at the shops now!
