I've been using these oxygen absorbers with my freeze-dried food stored in mylar bags and mason jars, and they have proven to be incredibly effective. The absorbers work perfectly to keep my food fresh and extend its shelf life by preventing oxidation. This is crucial for maintaining the quality and flavor of my freeze-dried items. The ease of use is another major plus. Simply place the absorber in the bag or jar before sealing, and it does the rest. There's no need for complicated procedures or equipment, making it a hassle-free solution for long-term food storage.

I purchased the 100 package a year ago and just finished using the last one. I am using them in quart jars or smaller to store beans, rice, crackers, and other dry goods. They have worked perfectly to keep the jar air tight and the food fresh. When I opened a new package, I quickly put one in the jar of food and sealed it. Then I quickly stored the opened package in a small jar and sealed it. Each time I used one from the small jar, it worked perfectly. You can tell when using a Mason or Ball jar lid because the middle of the lid will become firm after a few minutes. I love using them to keep my crackers fresh. I was always throwing out stale crackers. I am ordering another 100.

I put these in a lot of my jars that I dehydrate things in to observe, moisture or extra that I just wanna store in jar such as sugar flour, whatever rice whatever you would like I like that they are X amount packaged in one thing and you have several packages with smaller amounts in. I love that part because they will stay fresher longer.

The great thing about this product is that they are packaged in groups of 10 in little airtight pouches. This is important of course because they are activated by contact with the air. When I use them I tend to only use half a pouch at a time, so what I do is open each pouch carefully and then fold down the top, put tape over it and then place the remainder in a small airtight medicine bottle. This allows me to save the unused portion for my next batch of jerky. I wondered at first if they really worked, as this is not apparent or readily perceivable, but then I realized that due to the way they function, they generate heat while in operation. I was able to verify their working by simply scanning them with an infrared heat gun both before and after opening the package. This showed that they immediately began to generate heat upon contact with the air, just they way they are supposed to. So, I am happy with the product and intend to purchase more in the future as they keep my jerky much fresher for a longer period of time. Recommended!

Would have liked to of had the indicators on the sealed packages as shone in the pictures. Having the packets labeled would be nice as well.

I've purchased oxygen absorbers from various sellers online and without question I've been less than happy with the product. I must admit that I was a little apprehensive with ordering from Amazon. However, after receiving my shipment I noticed a distinct difference in the quality of the oxygen absorbers. They remained fresh and did an excellent job when needed, and remained reliable until they were all used. Great product and these will be ordered again.

I use these all the time no matter who makes them. It’s the same price for 110 as it is for 100. They were very well however we follow the amount of absorbers needed for the container size. I also use some in vacuum seal to ensure they are oxygen free.

I hadn't had a need for these until recently so I hadn't actually opened them for a couple years. They do the job well even after a couple years in storage. Put them in with your prep dry goods, your "flower", or any other thing you need to keep dry. They work great.
